We stayed at this lovely hotel during December 2025. That evening we were the only guests in the wonderful boutique hotel. The wonderful and incredibly friendly staff did everything to make us feel comfortable and cozy. With a heated pool and a room with a jacuzzi, a wonderful dinner and a delicious and satisfying breakfast in the hotel garden, facing the mountain view and the horse track, we felt really great! . Highly recommended!

I Nuwara Eliya ligger Hilldale Retreat, som har en restaurant, snackbar, en hage, en fellesstue, helårsåpent utendørsbasseng og terrasse. Boenhetene har utsikt over fjellet. Everything was perfect. The staff, location, food, facilities, everything was perfect the way it was. They upgraded us to a better room when it was available free of charge which had a very good view.

Flott uteområdet og rom! Nydelig bassen med utsikt mot Adams Peal i det fjerne. Ekstremt vennlig og hyggelig personale. Vi fikk veldig god hjelp til å arrangere tur til Adams Peak på kort tid. Veldig god frokost.

The hotel itself is idyllic, the perfect place to enjoy a honeymoon or simply relax by the heated pool while admiring the endless tea plantations around. Without a doubt, this is a spectacular accommodation that we would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Thank you so much for everything – we are eternally grateful for these unforgettable days.

I liked many things about Nuga Retreat. First of all, the beautiful, natural surroundings with mountain views created a unique atmosphere of peace and relaxation. The rooms were comfortable and well-equipped, providing convenience, and the outdoor pool was a great place to unwind. I also really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who truly made an effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable.
