A perfect place to stay for our first night in sri lanka The newly built hotel was beautiful with each bedroom overlooking the palm fringed beach and the ocean. We went for a swim in the sea and strolled along the beach which was really clean.We had supper in the restaurant which was really good.

This place is a hidden gem. Spacious rooms, beautifully decorated ans a comfy huge bed. The pool is lovely and the grounds and then you have the sea, right there. Elizabeth and her team go out of their way to meet your every need and dinner was great.

Great location not far from the airport. Beautiful nature all around. Great pool. The manager is kind and professional. Will definitely come again.

Our stay at Anawasal was the perfect introduction to Sri Lanka—a genuinely relaxing and wholesome experience that exceeded our expectations. Nestled in a stunning location with breathtaking lagoon views, this intimate resort offers an idyllic retreat far from the crowds and tourist hustle. The standout features are numerous. Beyond the serene setting, the property boasts excellent facilities including a beautiful pool, complimentary bicycles, and water sports options like kayaking and paddleboarding. The yoga classes are a lovely touch, and the resort also organizes various activities upon request for those seeking more engagement. What truly impressed us, however, was the exceptional food and drinks—authentic, delicious, and consistently well-prepared. But the real magic came from the warmth of Shibi, Dinesh, and their staff. They created a welcoming atmosphere from arrival, attending thoughtfully to every need and making us feel genuinely valued as guests. Given the quality of what we experienced, we would unhesitatingly return to Anawasal and highly recommend it to anyone seeking an authentic, peaceful escape in Sri Lanka.

We had an amazing stay at Elegant Hamlets Home Stay, an absolute true gem with serene surroundings for relaxing, extremely modern, spacious and built to Western and European standards, the Hosts Sherine and Chamara are extremely friendly and helpful and makes you feel welcome and right at home. The jetted pool is nothing short of your own private little oasis, the home meals are absolutely delightful, the facilities are outstanding and include a well equipped beautiful outdoor kitchen area beside the villa, water, coffee and tea facilities are readily available in the villa. While we had a dialog tourist phone plan, we found the in house wifi to be very fast and reliable.This was our favourite homestay in Sri Lanka and we highly recommend this Homestay. Side note; google street view map is outdated, the area and roads are very good and built up, tuk tuk’s and PickMe are readily available. A big thanks and gratitude to our wonderful hosts! Quiet place surrounded by lush greenery, with few rooms only and with beautiful view of the lagoon. Staff are very nice and helpful, food is amazing. Take a dinner with them, no many options in town!

Fantàstico resort con habitaciónes grandes bien equipadas y tranquilas. El personal es muy amable y atento a satisfacer el cliente. Tenemos que agradecer mucho Telan el encargado del comedor y de la recepción para su amabilidad y paciencia! Hemos siempre comido en el resort porque el chef Janitha nos preparaba platos con pescado y verdura de alto nivel .
