We spend one night at the Afro Village resort. Our group had 3 adults and 2 children. We spend one afternoon just idling in the resort. The pool and the garden were very nice for the kids to play around. The owner and staff were very accomodating and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious.

Dinner and breakfast were exquisite Sri Lankan cuisine. The plunge pool was welcome to cool in before dinner and breakfast. Comfiest beds and pillows in Sri Lanka! We will come again!

The property is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the Wilpattu park entrance which not only means you can easily book a safari but you also experience some incredible wild life just steps outside your door. We cannot praise the staff enough. Everyone we spoke with was so nice and so accommodating. It’s very clear that the folks at Wild Wadi are very passionate about animals, the environment and sharing all of their knowledge with their guests. We had breakfast and dinner at Wild Wadi each night. We had traditional Sri Lankan meals and it was some of the best food we had so far on our trip. We would highly recommend booking at Wild Wadi if you are visiting Wilpattu - such an incredible experience! We will be back!

Quiet place surrounded by lush greenery, with few rooms only and with beautiful view of the lagoon. Staff are very nice and helpful, food is amazing. Take a dinner with them, no many options in town!
