Located in Damai, Nanga Damai Homestay features a garden and terrace. Among the various facilities of this property are a shared lounge and a bar. Perfect little gem, we would go back anytime, the owners are so friendly and helpful, the outside area is amazing, you see monkeys from the terrace almost every day. We loved this place! Make sure you hire a car from Kuching, not only to get to Nanga Damai but also to explore the area, it's worth it and driving is easy, not much traffic at all. If you are fit and like hiking, Mount Santubong is waiting for you :) and the "Blue Pool" is a nice loop, as well. Kuching Wetlands by boat is fun and there's a lot more! ENJOY

People could enjoy the sounds, smells of the forest. And it didn’t feel like we interfered too much on the life of the communities.

The hotel is a beautiful little quiet oasis with a very friendly and helpful staff who made our stay so easy and comfortable. The area around is beautiful and for adventurous travelers it is the perfect place to stay as the hotel helps arrange all kinds of activities for you like a trip to bako national park or the orangutang nature reserve. It was perfect in December as the hotel was quiet and the weather was nice.
