The hotel was located right outside town so it was easy to get to town and not be in the middle of the city. I loved the fact it was close to beautiful trails so you could go for a walk. It was close to all the facilities from the pools, skate rink and rope climbing areas. Great property! Also I really enjoyed the fact that we received both breakfast and dinner, very good food.

This 5th generation family-run hotel dates back to 1864. Located by Lake Nisser in Vrådal, it offers vintage boat cruises and free access to a sauna and indoor pool. Very kind and friendly staff. They made sure that I was able to get dinner at the restaurant before it closed, which I was most grateful for. This hotel was an oasis after hiking all day!
