Eileen was an amazing host and explained us everything. the yurt was cozy and the hot tub outside in the evening was relaxing and perfect for our last two days in new zealand. we had a nice breakfast in the morning outside in the sun looking over the pond.

Lodge Bordeaux features a heated outdoor pool, a barbecue pavilion and an in-room breakfast service. A 5-minute drive from Whangarei’s city centre, it offers free unlimited WiFi. A lovely motel with absolutely everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Large open plan room with large double bed, dining table for 4, sofa, and well equipped kitchen area. The bathroom had a combined shower/spa bath. Outside was a lovely balcony area with a table plus seating area. Outside there was a covered communal BBQ area which we used.
