Die Unterkunft Magic Mountain Lodge besticht durch einen Pool, einen Garten sowie eine Terrasse und Bergblick. Sie befindet sich in Las Lajas und bietet kostenloses WLAN. Obwohl wir sehr spät angereist sind. Haben uns die Gastgeber unser Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Lage ist super und die Zimmer geräumig und sauber. Das Frühstück war perfekt, das beste bisher in Panama!

The breakfasts were delicious and good conversation with the hosts. We were given excellent suggestions of activities.

Die Unterkunft Cabanas Rio Encantado erwartet Sie in Caldera und bietet einen ganzjährig geöffneten Außenpool sowie eine Ranch mit Terrasse. It's hard to know where to start. This is without doubt one of the best places I've ever stayed. The highlight being our conversations with Frank (the owner). He is the real life Indiana Jones and took an afternoon out of his spare time to show me and my two sons around the property. We went swimming with him up river and over his bridge to the jungle. He told us stories which can fill a lifetime. I feel.honored to have spent time with him, an absolute living legend. He taught my boys life lessons I could only dream of plus he found a Fer de Lance snake on his grass as be was talking to us which my son's thought was incredible. Now when my sons show a weakness about not wanting to help out around the house or do any work, I ask them "what would Frank do?" This makes them get right to it. The pool is great, the cabins superb and the place is so brilliantly created with nature surrounding it that you will be stumbling over huge cane toads at night and snakes during the day. Listen to Frank, don't wear flip flops! Come for the views and the river, stay for Frank.

Hosts Ramona and Paolo were extremely accommodating. Grounds were beautiful. Rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. So many birds, too! Right down the road from some good places to eat. 17 minutes from the beach. This was a favorite place that we stayed.

Everything. From the moment I arrived until after I’d extended to a third night. Everything exceeded my expectations. Chantal and Giorgio are hospitality ‘naturals’. Upon my arrival, Chantal met me halfway along the path (rather than wait for me to find her) and greeted me warmly, guided me back to the restaurant area and offered me a glass of water. Usually upon arrival at a hotel, I’m automatically prepared to offer my passport followed by prepayment of my accommodation. Not at Naturalmemte! My bungalow was one of the best rooms I’ve stayed at in over the last year of travel in SE Asia and Sth America. It is thoughtfully designed and appointed with everything I’d want, from toiletries to a fridge and coffee plunger. I spent two days in the hammock hanging at the front of the bungalow reading a novel selected from the hotels small library. The occasional swim in the clean pool kept me refreshed. Breakfast, included in the tariff, was superb. Chilled juice, great coffee, plentiful selection of fresh fruit, two cereals, sourdough (yes, real bread) toast with cream cheese and thinly sliced cold meat or/and a selection of jams plus homemade chocolate cake. No eggs wanted or needed for me but there is further add ons if you desire. Three reasonably priced dinners - each memorable. Chantal and Giorgio make their own pasta (Giorgio is Italian trained) with their menu being based on Italian and Mediterranean cuisines. A welcome change from chicken or chicken….. The peaceful setting at Naturalmemte rejuvenated me completely. Highly recommended.
