Everything was just amazing, the place have a beautiful garden, rooms were spacious and clean, Marcelino he's the best host super friendly and available for everything recommending nice hikes and local events. Absolutely the best place to stay in Urubamba.

Exceptional hotel. The breakfast is amazing, with so much choice. The staff are so friendly and kind, always on hand to assist. The food is top class, we ate there both evenings, the yakitori buffet was top class. The room was nice and spacious, with a big comfortable bed and a good shower. The location is brilliant, just a short walk to the main plaza. The hotel also offer some additional extras, we joined the pisco sour class, which was enjoyable. They also have an alpaca in the courtyard for breakfast.

This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

Everything was pretty good overall. All email communications with Gustavo were great prior to our stay and during. We originally booked on booking.com at a very high price and kept looking and got a much better deal.....so I'd suggest if you're paying approx $250 USD it's a good deal. Food was great, grounds are immaculate (loved the 🦜 & all the 💐's), pool was nice and cold but great when in the sun for abit! We were there 2 nights/ 3 days for the sole purpose of relaxing and that's sure what we did. As mentioned in prior reviews, we found Peruvian families on site using the facilities and their clothing everywhere by the pool and grounds...maybe lockers should be provided for this. Only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, so not really good in that sense when hotel guests who are paying can't even get access. Also tables to put drinks on would be good (I think I also only saw 1 of those and again occupied by non-hotel guests). It would be nice if they had the theatre in English as well maybe at a different time. We couldn't get the TV to work really nor in English even after the maintenance guy came. We had several mosquitoes in the room upon check in, however was quickly rectified with a call to the desk and a lady came to spray and put plug ins. Woukd have been nice if we had clean chairs outside on the balcony for morning coffee (they were covered in bird poop) so we layed towels down on them as they were a tad tough to get clean. Yolanda at breakfast was exceptional. Went above and beyond for Us. We were also celebrating our Anniversary and they added a little nice touch to Our room upon arrival. We found it very clean, quiet, great food (make sure to save room for the Aranwa Experience desert....it's exceptional and have your phone ready for a video!). We had a pisco sour demonstration and it was awesome as we made our own & then got to consume them. They were delicious!!.

The hotel is very comfortable- huge comfy bed, good towels, hot shower. Everything was perfect. The only issue was slow internet in one of the rooms but not a big deal.

Everything, place was great. Clean. Awesome staff.

The view was spectacular I did not want to leave and the staff was awesome. Mr. Braulio helped us from beginning to end and make this a try memorable stay can’t thank him enough.

Julia is a gracious host, providing a place for travelers to take rest on a long drive from Ollantaytambo to Hidroeléctrica. Simple, clean, great value for money, and the dog and cat are nice to pat. Julia can also make dinner for an extra fee.

The natures is stunning, the architecture is amazing and the staff make everything even better.

The proactive care taken by the staff at Explora to organise a smooth arrival and departure, as well as the constant check-in and courtesy, the beauty of the site, the comfort of the beds, the sate room to details and room set up for the night, the spa (perfect to relax after a day adventuring), the experiences offered, the books about Peru in the lounge area, the awesome guide. The food!! All was fantastic!
