Casa Morey is located in Iquitos, facing the Itaya River. It offers spacious rooms with elegant décor and free Wi-Fi. An American breakfast is served daily. I loved the spacious rooms and how thoroughly clean they were, something that is very important to me when booking a stay. Same goes for the bathroom. Rooms were elegant without being overdone. Though the room was massive, the AC cooled exceptionally well and the WiFi was the fastest we found in the city. You get to choose out of a few options for breakfast and it is served to you downstairs, simple and satisfying. Learning about the history of the building adds to the wonder of it all, you can tell it’s a unique spot. It was more than a place to sleep, it was an experience.

Located in Iquitos in the Loreto region, Casa Micaela features a garden. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio and a swimming pool. This is the best place we have stayed on our trip! It was so quiet and comfortable, and the room was incredible. The staff was amazing and they were very helpful! If you have the chnace to stay here, definitely do!

Hostal Maravilla Amazónica is set in Iquitos and offers a terrace and a shared lounge. The property features river and quiet street views. It's quite close to Belen Market, which is both good (if you like outdoor food markets - think raw meat, vegetables, and loads of people) and not always great (think smells, dirt, and higher crime).

With river views, PuraChata Ecolodge is set in Iquitos and has a restaurant, room service, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

Hotel Marañón has an outdoor swimming pool, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Iquitos. The gentleman at the front desk, I believe he was the manager, was extremely polite and friendly and helpful with everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again and certainly recommend it to anybody and everybody!

I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

Posada Cumpanama has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Yurimaguas. The hotel also features free WiFi and free private parking. At the hotel, the rooms come with a desk. Loved our stay. The staff were very friendly. The hotel had a comfortable lodge type feel. Despite being in the center of town, the hotel was fairly quiet in comparison to typical centrally-located hotels. Great location, very clean and comfortable with everything working.
