Really cool old colonial building with nice high ceilings. There was a lot of space in the room and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The water was hot and good pressure in the shower too.

The owners were very welcoming and beyond kind. I had some very bad events before coming in and their kindness felt like a gift. I needed to feel safe in a clean space and that is what I got. They have beautiful energy, real human angels 🫶🏻 I would return again and highly recommend.

We loved this hotel! 100% our very favourite accommodation in 6 weeks in Peru! The family operating this hotel is some of the kindest people we met and they will help you with anything you need :) Their property is huge and they show you around and explain to you everything you need and want to know! I was sick for 2 days, and they even made me a special herbal tea from an Amazonian plant that helped me a lot. Even the food - amazing!! All the meals are delicious, freshly prepared, and made with a lot of local and seasonal plants from their 14-hectare land. On our walk, we even went to pick fruits with them, which we could try 5 minutes later! This was truly an amazing experience, and this hotel alone was worth the commute to Iquitos.

Our host Guillermo was helpful from the get-go. He made sure we understood the fair rate for transportation, made calls for booking a boat to Leticia. Asked a carpenter to stop working - it was loud- when we arrived back to our room. We didn't make this request, he just did it. He allowed us to check out late with a very very small fee. Instructed the moto-taxi driver to help us with our bags at the port. So kind and joyful, always smiling.

I’ve stayed one week in the wonderful Guacamayo Azul integrating my journeys in the jungle, and seriously, I have no words how amazing this place is! The house is luxurious, huge comfortable main bedroom, fully equipped kitchen where I felt I could cook as if I was back home. The pool is another sort of privilege; calm and safe location, comparing to the rest of Iquitos. Julio, the housekeeper, would help me with absolutely everything I needed - driving me to do buy groceries, help around the house, even accompanying me to explore the local area’s gems so I don’t feel uncomfortable as a solo female traveler. A special thanks to him! The house is massive and would fit a company up to 8 people, but also it’s an incredible stay for a solo person, who seeks quietness and solitude, like in my case. I truly appreciate my time in Guacamayo Azul, and it only leaves me to wonder why it’s not yet fully booked. I wish you that!

Casa de Campo Hotel Majestic Yurimaguas features an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a terrace and restaurant in Yurimaguas. Such a lovely hotel with amazing service and food. We stayed for 4 nights and could not have been happier and better cared for. Great room and bed, super breakfast, a beautiful garden and pool. Just 5 minutes by mototaxi from the center. The owner is an amazing person, highly recommend this place!

A Heliconia Amazon River Lodge az Amazonas folyó partján elterülő Yanamono Nemzeti Park területén található, 80 km-re Iquitostól. Everything was perfect. The staff were amazing, the tour guide Antony was great. The food delicious. The room was comfortable. Recommend 100%
