It was peaceful while providing gorgeous views overlooking the water. I especially loved the Church on the hilltop. My mother just passed away recently, so the Chapel was of great comfort to me. Our suite was also extremely comfortable. Felt like heaven, and having the balcony with the beautiful nature surrounding it helped me when I wanted to just spend time alone. The all day room service was great.

Chema’s is a great place to stay most especially if you want to feel relaxed and wanted to take a break from hustle and buzzle of everyday life. It was worth the experience. I really enjoyed everything!

Hof Gorei Resort is a peaceful getaway located on Samal Island, offering cozy bungalows surrounded by tropical gardens. Honestly the photos dont do this place the justice it deserves. The accomodation was excellent, very clean and tidy. The food was amazing and the location idyllic. The butler service really was the cherry on top and gave a personalised experience for myself and my girlfriend.
