The air conditioning actually works and this rarely happens during winter in hotels around Europe. Definitely this will be our only pick to stay whenever we are back in Lisbon.

Browns is a luxurious, beautifully decorated hotel. The staff, every staff member that I interacted with, were 100% professional and classy and in keeping 5 star service. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant also beautifully designed from lighting to furniture choices to plants....the music was perfect for a relaxing breakfast, and honestly, I did not want to leave. Restaurant staff were elegant in demeanor, movement and dress and service. The room we booked was the least expensive, we were only staying the night. The bed was comfortable and the sheets crisp and high quality. One more plus, The doors to the rooms closed quitely, which means, you can leave someone sleeping undisturbed if you want to leave your room. We Live in Portugal and go to Lisbon often. We decided to try Browns because we had things to do in that neighbourhood. Situated one street away from Avenida da Liberdade it was easy to walk to everything we needed. All the luxury brands are there! And they have parking, (valet).

The location was perfect, one block off the Ave Liberdade and very close to some high end shopping and very good restaurants. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our apartment, although small, suited our needs. The entire apartment building is very well kept with a lovely pool and garden area. All of the pictures and description of the apartment was accurately presented.
