Three House Hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre, a garden and terrace in Funchal. Miguel was the ultimate host. He provided us with a tour of the property upon arrival and then provided itineraries for each day based on what we wanted to see on the island via our rental car. He was available 24/7 via WhatsApp for any questions including providing a self walking tour of the Christmas lights. The rooftop bar/pool area was very nice with views of the city. Having access to free laundry on the fifth floor was very convenient. The fresh pastries on the doorknob in the morning ❤️

Ideally situated in Funchal, TURIM Santa Maria Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, private parking and room service. Great central location, 5 minute walk down to the sea, activities, restaurants etc. The hotel is fresh, clean, has a roof top pool and bar for the moments when you aren’t sightseeing. And the staff are so friendly and helpful. Fab buffet breakfast.

Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Casa das Proteas is located at Estrada das Covas nº8, São Jorge, Madeira Island, 50 km from Funchal. The location is excellent as a starting point for several hikes. The place is lovely, very private and calm. It's so beautiful there. The owners are the kindest and make you feel like family, very resolutive and helpful with everything. The sea views form our terrace were amazing. We stayed in 4 places douring our trip and I'm confident in saying this was the BEST one!! + There's a lonely kitty

Situated in a restored 18th-century home, Casa Da Piedade offers a lounge with fireplace, outdoor garden with barbecue and brightly decorated rooms. Wi-Fi and parking are free. Everything was just wonderful, the room was cozy and bright. The bed was massive and comfy ish. There a fridge near the kitchen that you can put your stuff in. And breakfast is lovely too. Definitely be coming back 😊 Oh and the cats name is Tacha, and she sooo sweet

L'Hotel Baía Azul, de 4 estrelles, gaudeix d'una ubicació ideal a prop del passeig marítim de Funchal i ofereix una piscina exterior amb una terrassa amb vista sobre l'oceà Atlàntic. I loved absolutely everything. The ocean view from the hotel was just woooow. The food was amazing. The stuff was the sweetiest ever. I wish I knew the name of a blonde woman who was purely the most lovely person ever. Thank you!

Located close to Funchal’s city centre, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, Meliã Madeira Mare offers free WiFi, an indoor and outdoor pool and a spa. When I realized I had forgotten my phone charger at my hotel in Lisbon and started to panic, the staff kindly let me use the reception area to charge my phone. I was truly saved — I do really thank the wonderful female staff member enough for her kindness!
