Please don’t pass up the pilgrim dinner…Pedro is an excellent chef and spending time with the family and other pilgrims is priceless! This location does add about 4-5km to your pilgrimage from Valença but it is well worth the extra distance. We started out in the cold rain but and ended up spending most of our pilgrimage in the cold rain but I could always hear Ana’s encouraging words to just embrace whatever comes and we did! Set in Viana do Castelo and facing Lima River, the AP Dona Aninhas is 2 minutes' walking from the city centre. I've really enjoyed the stay here. Excellent location and brilliant staff. Would stay again next time I am in Viana
