This was a real find! When you come up to the door it looks like an ordinary place to stay. However, when you go up the stairs it opens up into a true oasis! There is a beautiful courtyard with a kitchen, a BBQ area, a big table and comfy couch along with a number of secluded sunny areas to relax on big bean bag chairs. If that wasn't enough, you see the pool! With a beautiful area around it where you can lounge about. Then we went into our room which was gorgeous! Great bathroom and the most comfortable bed we have slept in yet! And just to add to the perfect setting - a bottle of wine, some cheese and crackers and a sweet pastry were set out for us to enjoy. Truly a wonderful way to end a day of hiking! I think we have been spoiled for the rest of the trip!!

A house to be away from the city, noise and confusion and have contact with fauna and flora in their natural habitat. All the staff were very obliging, frienndly & hospitable

Ha sido muy cálido todo. La cama súper cómoda. Solo hemos parado una noche pero Me encantaría volver para pasar mas días. Es más lindo en persona que por fotos.

Resort Rural Quinta do Carrascal cuenta con vistas a la montaña, está ubicado en Santarém y tiene un restaurante, salón compartido, bar, jardín, pileta al aire libre disponible todo el año y terraza. This place is amazing. I wish we would stay longer. Breakfast was wonderful, owners are super nice, pool is big and inviting. There is even a beautiful common area, with small playground for kids, table tennis, and board games. You should arrive for at least few nights!

Lovely little spa etc. Dinner was particularly good and the staff member that served me couldn’t have been better, the best service I’ve had in my entire 2 weeks in Portugal. Food was also amazing

It was right on the Camino which I was walking. The dinner was exceptional with many home-grown fruits and vegetables. This place is one of Portugal’s hidden gems.

The room (22 on the first floor) was large, with a good sized terrace. The bed was very comfortable and everything in the room was good. Breakfast was included in our rate and was satisfying. Bonus is a great restaurant directly next to the hotel.
