They took good care of us, additional evening room service was offered. Tea and cookies provided complementary every evening, well needed after a day out. Staff were very helpful with any queries we had.

Centrally located in Poiana Brasov, 10 minutes on foot from the ski slopes, Alpin Resort Hotel offers accommodation with complimentary access to a semi-Olympic pool. We stayed in the apartments section of the hotel. The apartment itself was huge, with two bedrooms - each with its own bathroom - and a very spacious living room. Once we figured out how to adjust the radiators the atmosphere inside became wonderfully comfortable, especially with the towel warmer as an added bonus. Breakfast was excellent, offering a large selection of food and running conveniently from 7:30 to 10:30. We also booked treatments at the hotel’s spa, which we enjoyed very much and found to be fairly priced, with the only real downside being the lack of snow, though of course that’s not something the hotel can control.
