No matter the time of day, it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the surroundings. It felt like having our own private spa with a river view. The accommodation itself is elegant, cozy, and incredibly well-kept. Every corner was thoughtfully designed to feel both luxurious and homey. We truly didn’t want to leave. The hosts were kind, responsive, and made sure everything was seamless. You can feel how much care has been poured into this place. If you’re looking for something special — a quiet escape with stunning views and pure comfort — this is it. Already counting down the days until we can come back. ❤️☀️

Spacious room and bathroom , great water pressure, comfortable bed, view towards the Danube . Great value and great find for families that would like to explore this beautiful area. We spent 2 nights at this accomodation and we loved every minute of it. Owner very attentive at check in, left the rooms open and messaged us , as we got delayed driving in. This hotel was recently remodeled, and all facilities are modern. Our room was on the riverfront with a balcony of a good size. The room was spacious and equipped with everything needed, minus a coffee machine.AC works well, and despite street traffic, the room was quiet. I requested hot water for tea, and Vasilica at the front desk gave me a brand-new electric kettle to use in the room. Breakfast is served at a table and is enough to feel you. The location is excellent; it is close to the center and the road to the monastery. They have a pool which is very clean and private. Great hotel!

Location is beautiful, right by the Danube, wonderful view and vibe. Facilities are great (swimming pool, patio, bbq area with everything you need) and the hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was big and clean, again with a great view. We will recommend this to all our friends and family.

We had a great stay at Pensiune Onyx. We loved the location and the view from the room, the facilities (everything is new and modern), the patio was very nice. The staff was very friendly, we even ordered a bottle of wine from the bar and the lady who was running the property set it in the fridge in our room, so it was waiting for us cold once we got back from a walk in the area :-) Will definitely stay here again if we return to Clisura Dunarii.

Everything was perfect. This is a stunningly beautiful location, and the atmosphere is serene. We loved everything about our stay. The rooms are beautiful and look exactly as in the pictures. Modern, cozy, and clean. The outdoor space is amazing. The owners, Alex & his wife, are very kind, helpful, and welcoming. They made us feel as if we're visiting old friends. I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back! Thank you.
