This is a lovely small hotel. We enjoyed the quiet after being in cities for a week. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for day of travelling.

The hotel is very charming and super location, very friendly staff, and great area with activities nearby. you can rent a kayak and paddle around the lakes, or hike; rooms were very comfortable and we had a fantastic view on the river.

Set in Tranås, midway between Linköping and Jönköping, Badhotellet is one of Sweden's oldest spa hotels. This is absolutely one of the most charming hotels I have ever visited. There are so many details on every floor. It's old and it shows, not in a bad way but there's a lot of history. It is so cosy. The spa is super but the outdoor pool in winter was so relaxing after a long days work. The gym was nothing you will find in any other hotel. It was big with good equipment. Breakfast was splendid.

The steakhouse that's attached to the hotel is reasonably priced and serve great food. Also there are 4 electric car chargers.
