Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station. Amazing hotel with incredible views over Lake Bled. The staff were all super friendly, the included breakfast was delicious and you could order as much as you wanted which is great. The spa area was clean and never too busy. Room was comfortable, warm and the balcony (I had a lakeside) was perfect for sitting and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel was situated on the other side of the lake to most amenities but as I only had a small rucksack with me it wasn't a problem for me to arrive via bus into Bled and take the 30 minutes walk around the lake to the hotel. The hotel is next to one of the train stations so I'd recommend arriving by train or taxi if you have larger bags, but for me the walk meant I got to explore more of Bled than perhaps I would have if I were staying nearer to the main tourism area. Boutique Hotel Sunrose 7 - Gourmet & SPA in Bohinj provides adults-only digital-detox accommodation with a private on-site wellness, fine dining restaurant, lush riverside garden and a bar with a... The facilities are impeccable and the staff is of an excellent quality ! They made us feel like we're really wanted there, they were most eager to help us with information and answers about pretty much everything related to the surroundings and the community. We've tried the spa and wellness (included during our stay), the restaurant, the massage area, the bowling alley and everything was perfect ! Bravo to them !

Lovely garden with natural swimming pool. There was also outdoor kitchen with a grill we used a lot. The location is great, it's only 15 mins by walk to the center.

We had a truly wonderful stay! We were warmly welcomed with delicious local food and drinks, which made us feel right at home from the start. The highlight was definitely the stunning mountain view from the jacuzzi — absolutely unforgettable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to treat themselves to a peaceful and luxurious escape. A perfect spot to relax and recharge!
