Newly opened in April 2009 after extensive renovations, this 4-star hotel, first opened in 1906, is only 200 metres from Lake Bled and in the immediate vicinity of the train station. I had an amazing stay at Hotel Triglav! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my experience special. The receptionist was incredibly kind and helpful—since I arrived earlier than the check-in time after a night of travel, she made the necessary arrangements so I could get my room a bit early, which I truly appreciated. The room itself was lovely—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The wellness area was also a highlight, featuring three small saunas and a pool with a stunning view of Lake Bled. The attention to detail was remarkable, especially with the Valentine's weekend touches—heart-shaped chocolates on the bed, fruit and water in the room, and everything I needed for the wellness area, including bathrobes, slippers, and towels. The staff throughout my stay were attentive and welcoming. The breakfast, which was included, was another highlight. It was served à la carte, and everything was beautifully presented. The eggs Benedict were fantastic, and the selection of coffee, croissants, butter, honey, and jam was simply delightful—everything tasted fresh and high-quality. I also had the pleasure of attending one of their wine tastings, and Tylan (hope I got the name right!) was fantastic. His deep knowledge and passion for wine made the experience truly enjoyable. Overall, my stay at Hotel Triglav was wonderful, and I’m already looking forward to returning. Highly recommend!

From being picked up at the airport to leaving the property on the final day this vacation was exceptional. Evita was extremely helpful and professional in all our dealings. You truly felt you were a guest in someone's beautiful home. Breakfast was superb and the bed was super comfortable. Location and information about what to do was again first class. I could not recommend this Villa more. Do not simply be tempted by closeness to the lake or lake view. I genuinely could not rate the experience higher.
