I understand why this place is rated an almost perfect 10. We booked last minute (20min prior to arrival) and you would have thought they'd been preparing for us all day. We had the entire place to ourselves during low season but they didn't skimp on anything. I cannot say enough good things about everything from the room to the cellar tour to the fresh made warm croissants at breakfast. It was perfect.

We had a two-room apartment with a huge balcony overlooking the vineyards. It was a pleasure to meet and talk with the owners while we were there. We had the added breakfast and it was amazing! G House was super nice and a good location for exploring the area’s wineries and farms. I recommend.

The hotel is very tastefully decorated and beautifully landscaped, including a newly added pool. There is a lovely bar that serves the restaurant for pre/post dining cocktails and is also used for the breakfast service. Michelin starred DAM Restaurant situated in the hotel is something to be experienced! It is helmed by the charming chef Uroš Fakuč and every course is personally supervised by him; mouthwatering seafood prepared to perfection! And highly recommend getting the wine pairing; Uroš pairs every course with wine from the region. The meal was so good, we went back the next night; chef Uroš prepared a seven-course meal just for us so that we didn’t have to eat the same thing twice! Talk about personalized service. If you are visiting Slovenia, especially the wine region, there is no reason to look any further than Dam Boutique Hotel and Restaurant!
