This hotel exceeded our expectations. It looks fantastic, the food is unbelievably good, the spa is wonderful and the staff did everything to make us feel welcomed. It is only 15 min drive from ski slopes that we enjoyed every day.

This is a very classic hotel in a beautiful location. Our room on the second floor overlooked the valley, which was a lovely view. While I didn’t feel the need to pay a premium for a room overlooking the lake, it was nice to be on at least the second floor as we could open our windows and curtains wide to enjoy the fresh mountain air without any sacrifice of privacy. Excellent breakfast. The welcome glass of sparking wine on our arrival after a long drive was much appreciated.

This elegant first-class hotel in Stará Lesná combines a high level of comfort with a beautiful location in the mountains of the High Tatras. Together with my family we spent 5 days at the hotel. The stay was very pleasant and comfortable, specifically: + very nice location, isolated from any traffic, near a small forest and with a beautiful view to the Tatra mountains + very good and tasty food for both breakfasts and dinners + clean and comfortable rooms + very nice and pleasant SPA area: nicely looking swimming pool with a pool bar inside, a couple of different saunas

Looking back upon a 100 year-long tradition in hospitality the historical Grandhotel Stary Smokovec in the centre of the High Tatras, only 3 minutes from the departure station of the Hrebienok cable... Amazing spa with a bar and great food. Perfect location.

Located in Medzilaborce, 43 km from Bieszczady Forest Railway, Typton hotel&spa provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Great experience. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food at both the buffet style breakfast and a la carte at the restaurant for lunch / super was good and fairly priced. I did not use the pool or sauna. Both were open and in good condition, I just didn’t take the time to use them.

Offering a garden and garden view, Penzión Walddorf is situated in Nová Lesná, 23 km from Strbske Pleso Lake and 26 km from Treetop Walk. The Penzion was ideal for our 3-day stay in the High Tatras. The property is clearly new and well-designed, while the wellness area is fantastic for relaxing after a day hiking. Staff was quite friendly as well. While there's not much in walking distance, it was a quick ~5 minute ride to great dining options and trails.
