Views of the mountains from all the windows and the garden table, but only 10 minutes on foot to the supermarket and the bus stop in the town. And this cottage was really near the restaurant in the 'wooden cottage resort' where our accommodation was based. The facilities in the complex where this cottage is situated were lovely, and unexpected.

I Terchová, 40 kilometer fra Orava slott, ligger Horský penzión Šuštiak, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. The room was really clean. The bathroom too. There was a kitchenette in the room however without a hob. There is a sizeable fridge, a kitchen sink and a kettle. There is a large wardrobe next to it and lots of kitchen cupboards. There is a separate communal kitchen on each floor where you can use the hob, microwave etc (no oven). There is plenty of space to sit and eat. There was always space in the car park. If you plan to leave early for the mountains (we left at 5am) ask the host to open the gate, which is locked at night. The Lidl and Coop shops are 3 minutes away by car. From the balcony there is a beautiful view of the "Sokolie" peak.

Surrounded by the Malá Fatra National Park, Hotel Rozsutec provides elegantly furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi. The Vrátna Ski Resort can be reached within a 10-minute walk. I can't recommend this hotel enough. From the beginning until the very end it was perfection all the way . It's a stunning little gem in the beautiful surroundings of Mala Fatra national park with breathtaking views .Hotel is very clean , nicely decorated, we loved pool and jacuzzi with view , we loved our spacious , tastefully decorated apartment with big balcony ( again with amazing views) For the small hotel such as the choice of breakfast was satisfying and tasty . And last but not least our big thank you to all the staff, everyone was very welcoming , polite and helpful. We will treasure beautiful memories and will be back next August .

Apartmán Vŕšky Terchová ligger bare 37 kilometer unna Orava slott og tilbyr overnatting i Terchová med tilgang til en restaurant og en bar, i tillegg til en døgnåpen resepsjon. Great location, well equipped apartment, comfortable and spacious. Ideal to fit a family or a few friends.

Drevenica Desina ligger i Terchová i Žilinský kraj, med Orava slott bare 37 kilometer unna. Dette overnattingsstedet har gratis WiFi, lekeplass, en restaurant og gratis privat parkering. We enjoyed everything, begining with the accomodation, continuing with the location, panorama, the spa, the tasty food and great homemade beer. The facilities were perfect, and the details for the Christmas holiday made us happy. All of these, along with the snowfall and heavy snow that we were lucky to have, they made us live a real winter story here, so we intend to repeat it next year.

Hotel Boboty is located in Stefanova and offers transport to the Vratna Dolina ski centre. It provides en suite rooms with satellite TV. The restaurant serves Slovak and international dishes. Beautiful accommodation, spacious rooms, very clean, great location to a lot of activities throughout all seasons, welcoming staff. Breakfast was amazing, huge and tasty selection+ the view on mountains. Pool and Sauna - all you need after a hike :) (book in the morning for that day).

Village resort Hanuliak is located in National park Mala Fatra in Belá village near the tourist information centre in Terchová. Guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. Good place, nice rooms and breakfast. Clean pool and sauna. Good service.
