El The Reef Resort está situado en Koh Kradan, a 5 minutos en lancha del embarcadero de Pak Meng. Ofrece conexión wifi gratis, una pileta y un mostrador de información turística. Staff was exceptional. Top notch professionals, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Very good food. I tried many dishes and they were all delicious and high quality. Perfect water, beach, free kayak / paddle boards. Very relaxing environment. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. You won’t spend much time in the room regardless. Be aware the reef directly in front of the hotel is now closed to snorkeling due to major bleaching/ die off from warm waters this year. If you walk to the south end of the island to the swimming area past the boat dock there is very good snorkeling. It’s about a 10 minute walk. I really loved this resort and will cherish the memories forever! I hope this island never changes (with exception of the reef recovering its health.)

Beautiful spacious rooms, with excellent service. The hospitality and kindness of the staff but also villagers in nearby surroundings is like we’ve never seen before. I can say we’ve made friends and they will be certainly see us back at Villa Pateh one day. When we first arrived we really looked at each other wondering if we died and went to heaven. We had seen the pictures but the place was surreal as we walked around in the homely decorated house with the calm piano music at the background. As vegans the meals were something we were slightly worried about on the first day -when we found out they mainly served local fish and meat dishes at the hotel. (which I believe would be amazing for non vegans I’m sure) But the management were so kind and helpful that the next day they found delicious solutions to make the local dishes with tofu, tempeh, mushrooms and whatnot. If you want a taste of the real Thailand, want to meet local people and if you are interested in their culture and way of living then this is the place to be. I’d thought I’d write a book as review about how an amazing time we’ve had at this place but I don’t want to ruin other people’s first impression either. Let’s say it was one of the most surprising, unexpected and uncommon holiday experience of our lives. I certainly would’ve stayed a little longer to get to know some more of these lovely locals and experience some more of that simple happiness of just being.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay! From the moment we arrived, our hosts went above and beyond to make our experience seamless and stress-free. They kindly picked us up from the airport, saving us the hassle of arranging transportation, and their warm and welcoming demeanor instantly made us feel at home. The brand new room was immaculate. The next morning, we were treated to a stunning breakfast spread that was both delicious and beautifully presented—everything from fresh fruits and homemade bread. It was the perfect start to the day. After breakfast, Udo was happy to take us to the pier to catch our ferry (for a small fee). Their kindness, attention to detail, and generosity made this stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a place with exceptional hospitality, a comfortable stay, and an amazing breakfast, this is it. Highly recommended!
