Featuring free Wi-Fi, an outdoor seasonal pool and a spa centre, this hotel is located in Antalovtsi village, 30 km from Uzhgorod. It also offers a steam bath and fishing facilities. We came from Slovakia to spend a few peaceful days surrounded by nature, and Bogolvar Retreat Resort was exactly what we hoped for. The location is beautiful, quiet, and green, a perfect place to relax and enjoy fresh air and calm surroundings. The staff were very kind and welcoming, and even though we don’t speak Ukrainian, we could always understand each other with smiles and simple words. Everyone was genuinely helpful, and we felt completely safe and comfortable during our stay. Our rooms were clean, warm, and cozy, there was always electricity, hot water, and heating. Breakfast was excellent every morning, with delicious food and great coffee. We truly had a great time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, good food, and friendly people. The only small issue was a payment misunderstanding when booking, but that was related to the international bank transfer system, not the hotel’s fault. The staff were honest and tried to help us solve it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly return again. Highly recommended!

Traveled with our cat who was let to stay with us by the owner without any issues. The host was incredibly kind and helpful, he greeted us upon arrival and answered questions swiftly. Finding the place was easy and there are plenty of free parking spaces. The area itself is breathtakingly beautiful, in the middle of the mountains and there's a little river next to the apartment. The view from our room was insane! Horses, cows, mountains, gorgeous. As I could see there are many activities, like horse riding, there's a big playground, outdoor gym, pool, many restaurants and shops within a minute of walking. The room was on the top floor and it was easily accessible. It was huge with a little area at the entrance for dressing, a big kitchen-living room and a bedroom separated by a shelf system. Maybe a night stand + small lights would have been great.There's a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. This was one of the cleanest apartments I've ever booked, everything was pristine. The design is nice, the kitchen is big, there's shades and curtains which many apartments lack usually. Shower was also cleaner than in hotels and there was enough hot water. Big balcony as well. The neighbours were quiet. The room was warm enough despite the cold weather and there's extra heating option by the aircon. Make sure to turn on the air raid app, as the air alert was not audible in the town. Overall: definitely returning if we're planning to stay in the Carpathians.

Staff is absolutely friendly and ready to help! Highly recommend if you want to stay in calm place where you can listen to beautiful birds and relax. Location is very convenient. The swimming is outside but warm. Thank you!

Everything was perfect , location, helpful staff especially Vika and Darya, clean rooms, spa, swimming pool.If they will do free outdoor swimming pool for the guest of the hotel, it will be very nice.

The hotel is recently erected and well-maintained, so it's great looking and almost shiny. The water in the pools was clean and pleasantly warm (primarily thanks to the weather, as the pools are heated by the Sun, not electricity, natural gas, or whatever). The small jetted pool was even better! The room and bathroom were spacious enough and also kept clean. The beds were comfortable. With little cash donations, you can have maids clean your room and change towels more frequently. The hotel has a small restaurant/bar.

The apartment was booked for 3 adults and one child and the couch in the living room barely fit 8 year old child def not for 3 adults and the space was so small had to book second apt for rest of family
