Ayres Hotel Vista Carlsbad offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a fitness centre and a shared lounge. It was beautiful, nicely tucked away off the main road. The rooms seemed a good size, very sleek and modern. The gym was great with plenty of machines. The breakfast was awesome, great options and the eating area was good size too.

All the staff are very kind and polite in this hotel. Mainly, the receptionist Martin who gave great tips for tours, a very interesting conversation about all subjects. Certainly, if you are in Pismo Beach, I will go back to this hotel.

Located in Oakhurst, just 10 miles from Yosemite National Park, the completely non-smoking Sierra Sky Ranch was established as a cattle ranch and evolved into a guest ranch in 1946. The hotel was beautiful and located perfectly fo Yosemite day trips whilst still close enough to be able to go out for dinner and have access to other facilities.
