We stayed one night at the Drury Plaza North Charleston on a road trip down to Florida, and it was a great spot. Everything was really clean, and the bed was amazing — we slept great after the long drive. The highlight is the evening 5:30 Kickback — a free buffet with hot food and drinks included, which was amazing after a long day on the road. Breakfast is included too, and there's a brewery right down the street for a nightcap. Easy parking and great value for the price. We'd absolutely stay here again on the way through.

It is located right across the highway from Coastal Carolina University. The CCU shuttle stopped there but not sure if that was for a visiting softball team. And it’s minutes away from lots of restaurants, Walmart, CVS, etc. also only a short right up Myrtle Beach and the airport. No restaurant at the hotel but the included breakfast in the morning had nice choices - bagels, muffins, cereal, fruit, yogurt, hot oatmeal and hot options like eggs, sausage, French toast, etc. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Would definitely stay again if visiting CCU

Hotel Hartness features a fitness center, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Beacon Hill.

The breakfast was really good, much better than the other accommodations. The 2 queen bed room we stayed in was very economical for 4 persons.
