Having stayed in the Colonial Suite, there were high standards that we were expecting, and it was safe to say that the hotel delivered on all fronts. The staff were incredibly friendly, and a special thanks goes to Julie for allowing us to contact her directly with any questions we had at any point during our stay. She went out of her way to ensure our comfort. The hotel was ideally located in one of the busiest parts of Hanoi, and we rarely required a taxi, as we could make most journeys on foot (not to mention that, with the traffic, some of those journeys would have taken longer by car anyway!). Another special mention needs to go to the breakfast—the spread varied day by day, and almost every dish was to die for!

The room is big, very comfortable, quiet and has a helpful washing machine. The hotel is quite far from the main touristic spots (for example the old quarter), nothing that a taxi or Grab bike doesn't solve it. The staff are very polite, helpful and speak perfect english. I would absolutely stay here again if I want to keep a little bit of distance from the crazy and noisy main spots of Hanoi.
