The staff was exceptional, helpful and always friendly. The game drives were an amazing experience, our guide provided us with interesting information and made our stay to a once in a lifetime experience. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend garden route game lodge! We would love to come back one day!

Overall, I loved my stay at the lazy lion. The room and the view were amazing. The room was large and had a refrigerator, plenty of water to drink, and a hairdryer. The room was also very clean. The couple who owns the guest house are very nice people and make a big effort to talk to all of the guests. The breakfast was really big and healthy. I really enjoyed all of the food and drink offered. The couple offered lots of advice on good things to do and even offered to loan equipment (like fishing rods) to some of the guests. I thought this showed they really care and are good hosts.
