From the start till the end of our stay, we were simply blown away by the hospitality, the design, the location, the views, and the fantastic welcoming staff. We came for a trip to South Africa to celebrate my birthday and the staff prepared a beautiful welcome setting in our room. The rooms are impeccably stylish and comfortable, everything is thought through till the very detail, and the views from the hotel are just out of this world. What needs a special praise is the cafe/restaurant area and oh god the delicious breakfasts!! Downright best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel. We also enjoyed coming up for an evening drink (the restaurant makes very nice cocktails) and enjoying the ocean view. Finally a huge thank you to all the staff who were just beyond amazing - it truly felt like home. As for the location, it was a great and safe spot for a Cape Town visit location in good uber distance to all major sightseeing spots. Can't recommend this place enough and simply can't wait to return!!!

With mountain views, Aan de Eike Guest House is situated in Swellendam and has a restaurant, luggage storage space, bar, garden, sun terrace and picnic area. They were incredibly helpful as we had to check in late, and check out very early the following day. It was a smooth process from start to finish, with clear communication along the way. They provided us with breakfast packs in our room as we were missing the breakfast time the following morning due to our early check out. Exceptional care and service!

Situated in Plettenberg Bay and only 700 metres from Lookout Beach, The Joneses features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The house was so spacious, clean and comfortable for our family of 4. The pictures don't really do it justice. The beds were huge and so comfy. We loved the location (despite the steep walk down to the beach!), walking distance to the main shopping street and the beach. CJ was an excellent host and very helpful. We particularly liked the guide book as it gave us plenty of ideas for what to do in the area.

Set in Paarl, 2.8 km from Boschenmeer Golf Course, Laborie Estate offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Breakfast was great as was the location and facilities although I did not get to experience much. Checked in, in the afternoon and left for a function at 18h00. Back at midnight and out before 10h00. Rates are on the less affordable side for the standard South African, although I do understand this is peak season.
