The chef is amazing! The quality of food is good. The chef was very happy to make customizations for me that I really appreciated. This property does the Western colonial style menu often featured at safari lodges - they do it well, but I am not a fan so much of this approach to menu design.

Situated at the heart of Livingstone City Centre, within a historic 19th century colonial building, New Fairmount Hotel blends historical architecture with contemporary interior design. Hi . I chose this hotel because is located in the heart of Livingstone . We did not know much about it . We travel with our 3 years old daughter . So when they saw us on Reception they upgrade our room to a superior one ( of course is low season and they had availability ) . During our holiday all the staff , treat us with great respect and courtesy . All our demands were furfilled . Even when our flight was delayed we recived a discount for an extra night at the hotel . At the end I will say that Hotel bussines is about people not walls . And Fairmont Hotel exceeded our espectations .
