This is a great place! Food is excellent and we absolutely loved the high level of service and the easygoing and fun staff in the restaurant. Amazing what the chef could do with what we all usually have have in our fridge at home. The taste and texture is a hit with flavours that you cannot create yourself.. Wine pairing is also perfect and the wine cellar is impressive: Schwanen is super relaxed and the interior breathe calmness and harmony. This was our second visit and we will be coming back. Emanuel is an excellent host and he has gathered a great team that takes really good care of you. Thank you very much!

We always try to stay in a boutique hotel when we travel. This ticks all the boxes from room to facilities and the most friendlies of staff. Amazing beautiful design hotel all details where great. Quality in everything and the car can be parked under the hotel. A great spa and skiing from the hotel. A nice town is Warth and only a few minutes away from Lech. The hotel has two restaurants and bars what we enjoyed a lot.

I booked this stay for my wife and daughter while I took my youngest to Europa Park. It was a bit of a gamble because neither had stayed in a spa hotel like this before, so I was a bit worried that they might feel intimidated and not feel able to engage with it to get the full benefit. The welcoming staff are a I think big part of the reason that was a non-issue. The reports back from my wife and daughter were that it could not have been better - the environment, the staff, the food, the room, and facilities including the additional wellness services they purchased - everything was beyond expectation and I thank the staff and the venue for an experience they will remember for a long time!

I stayed here for one night with a friend. The room was spacious and comfortable, featuring stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The wellness area was a particular highlight, with saunas and a relaxing lounge area. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options. The location was fantastic for us - directly connected to cross-country skiing tracks and winter hiking trails. There were also several restaurants within walking distance, making it convenient for dining options. The hotel offers a late check-out option, which we used to enjoy the wellness facilities even on our departure day.

We always looked for rural accommodation in a recent road trip around Europe, and this was perfect. When we arrived nothing much was open, and it was raining, but the staff still managed to get us squeezed into the restaurant, although we were located in the apartments just up the road. This is obviously a ski area in the right season, but perfect for walkers and cyclists at other times. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice, so definitely get it included. Worth a visit is the cable car at Son Bezau as it has amazing views and is a lovely walk. There is a restaurant at the top too.

A very comfortable and quiet room, spacious balcony with a nice view. Loved the beer garden, shady trees, a great place for a beer and cheese platter. The meals, breakfast and dinner, were outstanding, a great menu that changed each evening and the breakfast selection was excellent. Delightful and helpful staff, good parking. A lovely Gasthof in a beautiful village, would happily stay here again.

As for the food… I never expected such high quality and amazing variety as was offered! There are plenty of hiking options around, from easy-peasy to challenging mountain hikes! Very nice staff, very good food (we had the demi-pension), location is good for trips and when snow for ski. All is clean, restaurant is modern, afternoon cake very good. The holiday was great we had plenty of snow and blue skies, with a dump of snow on the last day.Apres ski was bouncing on the slopes. The hotel staff were awesome and the food was cooked to perfection. The spa was really quiet during the day which gave a relaxing end to a perfect day...where we stayed there wasnt much night life which was exactly what we wanted and you make your own entertainment. We will definitely go back.

Wouderful large appartment in a Quiet village 10 minuts drive from Lech Owener was flexable with checkin and aranged for me to get in at 2 am. Everything as decribed, really relaxing. I came at the end of the winter with a car, I was told that in the middle of the winter the road is often closed, I advise you to check up about traspotation before you book.

A small picturesque village mainly locals around. Interesting slopes for advanced skiers. I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners. Just the right place if you are looking for serenity. Don’t expect any after skiing party and don’t expect many choices for eating out. There are buses running from hotels to the slopes every 15minutes and is great!

Schwarzenberg is located very central in the Bregenzerwald, with plenty of public transport connections. Within ten minutes Bezau can be reached, with the opportunity to use the dayspa in Hotel Post. From Schwarzenberg many hikes can be initiated. The public busses can also carry skiing equipment, so no need to drive with your own car. In case one misses the atmosphere of a city, Dornbirn is easily reached by private as well as public transport.

The great is a ice mountain view evening.

The great is a ice mountain view evening. At least three hiking/walking tours ( easy + 2 * moderate) start direct from the location. The nice restaurants and food shops are placed in center of Hittisau village, about fifteen-twenty minutes walk. Public transportation (bus) is available, acceptable, but not very frequent.

If you stay 3 nights or more you are given the Mellau card which gives you free access to the cable cars in the area (among other perks that we did not use). Lots of hiking trails. Beautiful scenery.

Good location for mountain walks and biking, great outdoor swimming pool but it’s not heated. Anyone staying in the area for 3 or more nights qualifies for a free tourist pass which is a great bonus giving entry to chair lifts, outdoor pools etc

Damüls is a lovely ski resort in Austria, although it did get extremely over-populated at the weekend. We had thankfully planned for this and took the day off snowboarding on the Saturday and went for a hike instead. Next time, we will just come for the week days! The weather was very warm, which encouraged day trippers to come, so I think that contributed.

I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023.

I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023. We rented apartment No. 2 on the ground floor. Both bedrooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and had en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and directly connected to the living room with a large window from which I could watch the children playing in the snow. The house has an underground garage, so I eliminated the morning cleaning of the windshield. There is a sauna available for guests. From the house, I could easily walk to the information office, the ATM, or Spar for shopping. If one doesn't feel like cooking in the evening, one can try the restaurants within walking distance, offering local and international cuisine. I drove to the nearest lift (Steffisalp) within 5 minutes, where I rented skis for the kids and enrolled them in a local ski course. Beginners and experienced skiers alike can choose between the slopes. A further 10 minute drive (or local Skibus) takes you to cross-country (Salober), classic and skate skiing or you can take the cable car from here to the next ski resort, Lech. Warth 76 is the choice for anyone who likes to stay nice and comfortable on holiday, while having all the luxuries of an alpine resort within easy reach. They also have snow :o)

One of the benefits of staying over three nights in this...

One of the benefits of staying over three nights in this area is that we were each given a Guest Card for the Bregenzerwald area. The card allowed us free rides on the cable cars in the area and discounts for some of the restaurants, etc. The hiking in the area was fantastic; if we were looking for a place to ski in the winter, we'd choose this area!
