I stayed in the Lucia for 2 Weeks at the start of Feb 2025. It is a nice modern styled hotel, conveniently located between the ski slope (top of Damuls) and the kitchen/ spar shop (middle of town). I was immediately welcomed and greeted with warm hospitality, and had no problem in communicating, even though my German is not very good. I even got free German lessons throughout my stay! The breakfasts were superb, fresh fried eggs every morning, and in the second week I was spoiled by delicious, heart warming 4 course dinners from Marlies & Martin. Marlies also kindly did my laundry for me throughout my stay! I thoroughly recommend this hotel for a vacation; Damuls-Mellau is a varied, quiet, unspoilt ski area that you will just want to keep coming back to. And hotel Lucia as well !

Fab location, I have never been to a clean hotel like this before. Room was great and view was awesome. Wellness area with saunas were amazing, view from rest area was truly fascinating.

The place has an amazing and quite picturesque location. It’s placed right near the ski lift, which makes the daily ski commit quite comfortable

Lovely little apartments. Previous hotel rooms that have been converted into a 2 bedroom apartment, which meant ensuites for each room which was great. Perfect location and just overall great!

Exceptional food, warm welcome and super nice and forthcoming staff. Great hosts, make you feel welcome immediately and offer their help and support regarding anything. Whether you ski, snowboard or just want to do some winter-hiking. Beautiful scenery many things to do.

Loved location, handy to ski lifts & having lockers at the mountain base was perfect. Room was lovely with bath (for after skiing) & balcony. Really enjoyed our stay.

Everything was perfect! Delicious food for breakfast and dinner, very (very) nice staff members. The room was big, clean and with very nice views. The spa bigger and nicer than expected. And we had a great massage. We will definitely go back and we recommend it 100%!

This was our second year in a row at the Alpenstern. The hotel has a superb location right at the piste and an all day long sunny terrace. The rooms are beautiful and the pool and spa with the panoramic sauna are an absolut highlight. The hotel offers a big and tasty breakfast buffet and delicious 3 course dinner option. Altogether, the hotel has everything you need for a relaxing skiing holiday.
