The owner lady is very very kind and helpful.
The atmosphere of the house is very nice.

Great room, beautiful views, great breakfast and dinner, billiards, bowling, indoor tennis court, sauna, 2 heated pools, gym, table tennis. We stayed a week and only left the property once. Staff was kind, with the Peruvian waiter and chef going way above and beyond. Alex was especially amazing.

The resort is remote and very quiet, yet easily accessible and offers breathtaking views. The building is a beautiful log house just like we see in Canada. The inside is charming rustic/stylish yet luxurious. It had all the modern amenities one needs. There is a lot of attention to details put in by the owners who designed this beautiful property. I also want to mention the quality linens and comfortable bed, the two sided fireplace and the authentic wood fed sauna. Thanks to Vitaly for his welcome.

Self check-in was easy. Perfect when traveling late. The room was clean. It’s close to an Italian pizza restaurant so you can have some pizza until 21:30.

Wolfsberg is such a gem with its rich history and different...
Wolfsberg is such a gem with its rich history and different sights to see made our visit go so quickly that it was sad to leave. The locals were accommodating and I tried my first original weiner schnitzel and Austrian beer at the Hotel Torwort andd it didn't disappoint 👌👌😊😊👍👍. We visited Wolfsberg Castle and gardens and also the Museum in Lavanthaus which has a huge display of history which I loved. We walked around the town as that is the best way to see everything.

Everything was great.
Everything was great. Parking was super easy, even for a large vehicle with bikes on the back, and there's a lift from the parking up to where the apartment is so bringing in suitcases and such was convenient.

Prebl it´s a small village in the mountains (920m over the sea) with a church and a good restaurant (Panoramahotel Friesacherhof). There is also Mineral and heal water close by: Preblauer Heil- und Mineralwasser. A place worth visiting to buy some water bottles to prevent many diseases.

We went there particularly to visit the site of Stalag...
We went there particularly to visit the site of Stalag XVIIIA. First stop, Lavanthaus Museum, which has display about the three camps on the site over time; also publication in German and English. (Museum also has interesting folk history of area.) Found stalag memorial at junction of Lagerstrasse and Sankt Thomasstrasse. Campsite is now industry and housing. Walked through on Lagerstrasse. Satisfied to have seen the site and area where Aussie father was POW for 4 years.
Memo to Wolfsberg: your street signage is woeful.
