The staff was super friendly and very accommodating (we arrived late at night). The location is picture-perfect and the place is classic Austrian idyllic, yet modern. We are definitely coming back.
Featuring free WiFi throughout the property, Kolpinghaus Spittal is located in the center of Spittal an der Drau, a 5-minute walk from Porcia Castle and a 10-minute walk from the train station. Good value for price, great breakfast, shopping in walking distance. We could park the bicycles in the garage. Bed was sofa bed, but it was comfortable.

It is a beautiful location near the town square with very amiable hosts. The rooms are well-appointed and have lovely balconies with views of the lake and mountains. And the inclusive breakfast is delicious and nicely served. I heartily recommend it as a restful destination for a single night or longer.

The hotel is located in the center of the old city in an old Postal building. It has 3 restaurants, and a brewery located there. I stayed in the room with a full sized cut out of a dancer over the wall above the headboard. The hotel has several different types of rooms - each unique in their own right, and it is just one cool place! The beds were super soft and the shower had alot of hot water... but the rooms were also huge! This is just great value for your money all around! I highly recommend taking a look at the rooms before you make a choice - because they do have some that are just amazing! Great staff and easy check in. Really appreciate the staff's assistance in pointing out all the items around the hotel and what were the best places to go and see. The breakfast is included with the room - and you can have scrambled eggs if you ask . Loved the coffee machine and milk coffee and all the jams that they had laid out for you to try.
Very cozy and close to main roads. Right in the middle of the region. The staff was great, the rooms were large and comfortable with a view. The breakfast and dinner were great. The hotel was a hidden jewel. The spa was very nice and the pool was great for swimming. The only thing wrong was that we couldnt stay more. Would wholeheartedly recommend.
We enjoyed the all-inclusive. The dinners were amazing. The food was well prepared, delicious and attractive. New Year Eve's dinner was 7 courses with great Austrian wines that would have cost $200 at most restaurants. We were amazed. The staff works really hard and are always attentive, patient and helpful.
Incredible is the word to describe everything about this hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable, staff was really friendly and restaurant... best Mexican food i ever had. Will be back for sure Isa
