The place was very relaxing, very clean, staff was incredibly nice, food can be easily ordered from town and the breakfast is simple but definitely enough and so nicely set up (including some very very cute cups and plates)

Very convenient to the Lechweg Trail. The room had been renovated and reflected traditional and modern decor. It was spacious, clean and comfortable and had a simple kitchenette. I had dinner and breakfast at the property and both were super with very friendly patrons and staff. I was also able to buy a bag lunch to go which was perfect for a day of hiking.

Love this Hotel! Wonderful staff, beautiful rooms, extra amenities, ie; sauna, hot tub, steam room and great location! This was my second stay there and Will go back again!

We loved that this place was so kid friendly! There was a play place for small children that our 2 year old granddaughter loved! Our rooms were comfortable. Gabi was so accomodating and helpful! Each morning at breakfast our table was ready for us with a highchair. We enjoyed everything we ate at the restaurant for dinner. I especially loved the spatzle and the wiener schnitzel. While staying here, we visited the Neuschwanstein Castle, Hohenschwangau Castle, Ehrenberg Castle ruins, and the suspension footbridge, and the Hotel Maximilian was a great location!

Excellent hotel. Spacious, clean, quiet room, amazing view of the mountains. Very pleasant staff. We informed the hotel that we were late and would arrive after check-in hours - the staff said that there would be no problem and waited for our arrival. Very good breakfast. Free parking. There is a playground for children outside.

Warm vibes - stayed for our honeymoon and it was exactly the experience we were looking for. Breakfast in the AM was a great way to start the day. Staff was friendly, provided guidance for activities when we inquired. Another thing we loved was the heritage and charm everywhere on the grounds and within the building. Certainly would stay again - this time for longer - we only stayed 2 nights.
