Hotel Reif - Urdlwirt se nahaja na mirni lokaciji, 1 km od avtoceste A2 in 12 km od središča Gradca. Accommodation really nice, comfortable beds. Everything clean and quiet during the night. We stayed just for one night but would stay longer. Late arrival was not a problem and also to have a breakfast in the morning even we didn't order the breakfast in advance. I can surely recommend the hotel. We'll come back if we'll be in the area.

Change of the owner brought upgrade of some parts of the hotel. Our room (suite) was comfortable with all what we needed for 1 night stay. It's nicely renovated, bed was comfortable, bathroom is very spacious with bath and shower. Dinner was delicious, breakfast surprised with new self servis area with juicer for making fresh juice (apples, carrots, celery stick, cucumber) and new coffee machines for espresso coffee (coffee is grinding just before coffee preparation). Experiences were excellent since arrival - renewed reception with professional approach of the receptionist, nice welcome drink, nicely renewed room, renewed dinner/breakfast area. Hotel spa/saunas, pool were not crowded this time. We were lucky to catch last free time slot for massages, which were also excellent. Simply our last minute 2 days/1 night trip we made was as we hoped for.

We stayed at Hotel Pichlmayrgut to have a break in our longer city-focused trip. All of our reactions are seen through "we wouldn't do this at home" rose-colored glasses. All of our interactions with hotel staff were positive and friendly. Our room was upgraded when we checked in, which was a pleasant surprise. We participated in a couple of the morning hikes--the guide was fantastic and we enjoyed chatting with the other guests. As others have mentioned, breakfasts are fantastic. We also very much enjoyed the cake and coffee breaks in the afternoons. We found all of the pool and spa facilities to be very clean and kept in great condition. While I don't see myself having reason to return, the hope will always linger in the back of my mind.
Breakfast and dinner is superb for all! Wellness is big and well separated for smaller or bigger children. Always cleaned and staff is at disposal all time. Mermaid swimming lessons are the best! :)
