The Spa was incredible! We are from the states and haven't ever experienced a European Spa before. We were nervous but once we did it the first time, we kept coming back! We went in September, the weather was beautiful and the views were outstanding! There is a Gondola right outside the hotel, buses make it easy to travel and are just a two minute walk from the hotel, the staff is very kind. We were backpacking for over a week before we got to this hotel and we were feeling very rugged after a full day of travel. When we checked in, we were given "welcome drinks" at the bar while a bell hop took our bags up to our room. We instantly were relaxed and felt taken care of. Our stay at Sporthotel was the highlight of our visit to Innsbruck.

Excellent hotel. Staff is very friendly. We had half-board. For breakfast lot of choices, dinner 5 courses and delicious. Good choice of wine. You receive also Stubai Super Card which allows you to visit lot of places for free and use also cable cabins for free. To glacier and other places for hiking.

We loved this hotel, we spent 3 nights here in December. The staff was friendly and helpful, it is a beautiful hotel with an authentic style and all the facilities are excellent. Our room was large, and the balcony had a wonderful view of the valley. We enjoyed all our meals here, a large breakfast buffet, a nice lunch buffet and a superb multi- course dinner. The pool and spa area was very large, we enjoyed afternoons in the sauna, and it was never crowded. I picked this hotel because I wanted to enjoy some hiking while also being close to Innsbruck, and this location was perfect for that. We walked just a short ways to a beautiful hiking trail up the mountain, and Innsbruck center was just a 30 minute drive away. I would love to return to this hotel and stay longer next time.

My daughter and I had a fabulous stay at Hotel Stubaierhof during the first week of 2023. We flew direct from New York to Munich and took a train connection from the airport to Innsbruck via Munich East station (about 3.5 hrs total). From there the Hotel staff came and picked us up in their shuttle (about 25 minute’s drive). The journey should be quicker via rental car (about 2.5 hrs drive according to Google maps) just check first in case you need to apply for an international driver’s license for Austria. The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is beautiful with traditional wood carvings and wellness amenities although we spent much of the time on the slopes of the Stubai Glacier. The breakfast is a must and provides an excellent start to the day. In the afternoons from 3-5pm the hotel hosted a selection complimentary cakes (Kuchen) which my daughter loved and turned out to be the perfect combination after a big day of skiing when paired with a nice cup of tea. The town of Neustift is cute, had an outdoor ice-rink and a decent number of restaurants for its size. You can also take bus that runs frequently into Innsbruck (45 minutes) for 4 euros each way to enjoy a bigger city feel for an evening. We stayed for 4-nights with 3-days of skiing and planning to return for a longer stay with the whole family.

A nice, comfortable hotel with a very friendly staff. Hans, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful. The food was excellent (we ordered half board and were very happy with both the dinner and breakfast). The room was big and very clean with extremely comfortable beds. More than what we expected, will be happy to come again.

The hotel looks traditional and completely beautiful from the outside, but is also completely modern in the sauna area and breakfast. I was extremely impressed by the sauna area and am a sauna lover who goes weekly in my home City. I have never seen such selection at a hotel breakfast in all of Europe, and I have traveled almost 50 countries worldwide. The friendliness of the family also made the stay especially warm and memorable.

We booked on a short notice with dinner and breakfast. Dinner was a "Tyrolean dinner" with lots of meat, but my wife is a vegetarian. The staff was extremely friendly and prepared some vegetarian meal extra, really nice! The hotel has a spa including two saunas and a steam bath, all of these were clean and not so overcrowded. There were many families there with lots of children. The staff reminded the kids several times not to run through the hall, and to be a little less loud during playing games, which was truly ok! :-)

Conveniently located near the city center, close to restaurants and super markets. The apartment was very spacious and had all the amenities we needed. Very clean, it had a cozy terrace. The spa facilities were very nice and the personnel was outstanding, friendly, well informed, answered all our questions promptly.

From the outside, it seems just a normal gausthaus but inside it is beautiful and big and open and beautiful, sauna dry and wet were great wish I had more time to spend in the wellness area. beautiful dining area, good room and balcony with chairs and lounge and great view of the mountains

Typical Tyrol town which goes out of it's way to welcome tourists with helpful staff in the tourist office and lots of events. Great centre for walking with buses up and down the valley and a total of four lifts to the high places.

If you like beautiful views and excellent hiking...

If you like beautiful views and excellent hiking possibilities, this is a place for you. Dozens of different hiking paths in different small towns located not far from each other. Recommended to book an accommodation with Stubai Super Card to enjoy free public transport and cable cars. We initially booked three nights, but decided to book three more because this magnificent place.

Fantastic small village with great cafes and restaurants, shops with sporting equipment etc. Quick trip to the local attractions in the valley and a bonus if you book accom with someone who offers the Stubai Super card for access to local buses and gondolas.
