We were very happy with all aspects of our stay. The staff, especially the lady at reception, went above and beyond to make sure that all of our needs were met and to provide us with helpful information. The rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated and the bed is extremely comfortable. There were a variety of options available at the breafast buffet, all of which were delicious. The hotel is in the perfect location for outdoor activities and we thoroughly enjoyed the wellness area upon our return.

The Spa was incredible! We are from the states and haven't ever experienced a European Spa before. We were nervous but once we did it the first time, we kept coming back! We went in September, the weather was beautiful and the views were outstanding! There is a Gondola right outside the hotel, buses make it easy to travel and are just a two minute walk from the hotel, the staff is very kind. We were backpacking for over a week before we got to this hotel and we were feeling very rugged after a full day of travel. When we checked in, we were given "welcome drinks" at the bar while a bell hop took our bags up to our room. We instantly were relaxed and felt taken care of. Our stay at Sporthotel was the highlight of our visit to Innsbruck.

We loved this hotel, we spent 3 nights here in December. The staff was friendly and helpful, it is a beautiful hotel with an authentic style and all the facilities are excellent. Our room was large, and the balcony had a wonderful view of the valley. We enjoyed all our meals here, a large breakfast buffet, a nice lunch buffet and a superb multi- course dinner. The pool and spa area was very large, we enjoyed afternoons in the sauna, and it was never crowded. I picked this hotel because I wanted to enjoy some hiking while also being close to Innsbruck, and this location was perfect for that. We walked just a short ways to a beautiful hiking trail up the mountain, and Innsbruck center was just a 30 minute drive away. I would love to return to this hotel and stay longer next time.

The staff was very nice and helpful in order for us to have a nice and relaxing stay. In front of the hotel is the bus station, which takes you to the Stubai Glacier and the town of Innsbruck. The Alpeiner Nature Resort Tirol is truly an exceptional hotel that combines authentic Tyrolean culture with modern luxury. From the moment you arrive, you feel as though you’ve stepped into a fairytale. The staff welcome you warmly, always smiling, attentive, and genuinely caring, while still giving you the freedom to enjoy your stay at your own pace. The hotel is immaculate, with every detail carefully maintained. Service is simply outstanding – attentive yet discreet. What impressed me most was the attention to sleep quality: guests can choose mattresses with different firmness levels and request special pillows, including orthopedic ones for neck support. This is the first hotel I’ve encountered that truly prioritizes healthy, restorative sleep. The spa is wonderful – a spotless pool, diverse saunas, and a blissful jacuzzi create the perfect place to relax and recharge. Breakfast is a lavish buffet with endless options to suit every taste. At lunchtime, while not a full meal service, guests can enjoy delicious soups, salads, and cakes. Dinner is a highlight: each morning you select from a changing menu, and in the evening the chef prepares your chosen starter, main course, and dessert to perfection. There’s also an evening buffet for those who prefer variety. The hotel offers a great gym with classes and easy ski/snowboard facilities. Rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you need. The views are stunning, and the atmosphere is peaceful and serene – perfect for unwinding after a day of adventure. What makes this hotel truly unique is the way it celebrates Tyrolean culture. The traditions are alive in every corner, and guests respect and embrace this spirit. The atmosphere is vibrant yet tranquil, creating a rare balance between liveliness and serenity. This is a hotel of another level – a place where culture, comfort, and hospitality come together seamlessly. I will definitely return again and again

The region is perhaps better known for skiing, but it's also a great summer destination. I recommend zipping down the Serles on the summer sled track, but be prepared to queue for a while (or try to arrive very early). You can walk up or take the Serlesbahnen lift up. There's a fun little water park at the top, and some very nice (also family-friendly) hikes for example to Maria Waldrast, where there is a fountain with allegedly healing waters. Schlick 2000 is an obvious peak to visit and walk around, but the Elfer opposite it also has a lot to offer (if you like hiking, try the trail that goes to Pinnisalm about an hour away - there are amazing views into the quiet inner valley along the way). It's also quite mesmerizing to watch the paragliders take off from the Elfer. The Stubai glacier is incredibly popular. If you are relying on the bus to get there, prepare for a quite full bus. About the buses in general: you can't get everywhere by bus, and sometimes the buses to the glacier or Innsbruck are very crowded. I would welcome it if there were more buses, and routes that lead to some of the side valleys.

Special!! Inspiring to the point where you almost forget where you are coming from. Rural and peaceful to thoroughly enjoy long walks through nature. Our longest walk was from Mieders to Neustift and we loved every moment of it. We do hope and look forward to going back to Mieders in the future. Transport from/to Innsbruck and to the glacier area is frequent and very efficient. There is not a lot of restaurants, but, the ones available are awesome!!.

On one hand, it is very central - close to Innsbruck, but on other hand, if you want to go directly to Innsbruck direction without spending time, you have to pay 3.5 Eur to use the bridge (same is on the way back). If you don't want to pay, you will go to Innsbruck 45 minutes instead of 20 minutes. Similar is for any time that you need to go to Innsbruck direction or to the right direction (east) from Innsbruck.
