Safari Lodge (previously known as Jungle Lodge) is located in the remote rainforest region of Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland. Excellent and Friendly Service. Clean rooms and facilities. Allowed late checkout with little or no warning. Great experience!
Located in Cape Tribulation, within the Daintree National Park and World Heritage Listed Rainforest, Cape Trib Farm features barbecue facilities and views of the mountain. True rain forest experience living in a tiny "home" for the night. We got a tour of the fruit farm when we arrived (schedule your tours in advance, every day at 2pm!), tried numerous types of exotic fruits on the tour, met the owners of the farm, got a fruit basket and bread with homemade jam in the morning, access to their full kitchen and food, etc. Each hut on the farm (there are 5) comes with a bed, bathroom with shower, and a cute little porch to sit and enjoy the outdoors. They are off the grid, so no cell service and no wifi in the cabins, but that is okay! UNPLUG and RELAX!! WELL WORTH IT!!!
Set directly opposite Thornton Beach and surrounded by the Daintree National Park, Thornton Beach Bungalows feature a private patio offering views of the Coral Sea. Loved the bungalow. Very comfortable bed, good bathroom and shower. Right across the road from the beach and a little cafe/restaurant selling breakfasts and lunches. Not far to drive to Cape Trib and other spots In the Daintree. Karen and Drew very helpful with information and booking tours.
Epiphyte B & B offers accommodations with a private balcony or patio, just 5 minutes’ drive from the beaches of Cow Bay. All accommodations offers outdoor furniture, a fan and an private bathroom. Kev and Trish create a wonderful atmosphere at this amazing place.

In the tropical Daintree Rainforest, the Silky Oaks Lodge features balcony rooms with hammocks and forest views. It has an outdoor pool, a tennis court, and first-rate spa facilities. The quiet surrounding the property, allowed for one to get away from it all. The staff were courteous and attentive.
Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa is located in the middle of the Daintree National Park Rainforest. This boutique lodge has a day spa and an on site restaurant, which overlooks the freshwater lagoon. Amazing location, truly in the rain forest. Fantastic food and lovely staff.

Fantastic location utter gem of untouched beach beauty in the mighty Daintree rainforest. Lush grounds with direct access to the beach. Like a camp-style youth hostel without the raucous partying. We paid extra for Crispin 3, private cabin with closest to the water. Bed very comfortable. Young (working holiday visas) staff helped arrange our day-trip with Ocean Safari (highly recommend!) Best bet in tiny Cape Trib.

Simply the best way to experience the Daintree rainforest. Off the grid and away from the city noise, you will appreciate the fact that your cellphone can't ring, you can't get on the Internet and can immerse yourself in the beauty of the nature that surrounds you.

Our hosts were gracious to aid us in all of our travel issues. Our flight into Cairns left my bag back in Sydney and continued to cancel flights in which my bag would fly on. Throughout this process of coordinating me gathering all my belongings, Sally was so gracious and helpful coordinating with the airport and arranging pickup while we enjoyed the local environment. Our hosts were so approachable, the tour on the river was a walk from our private accommodation. The morning teatime outside on the terrace overlooking the rainforest/river was an amazing way to wake yourself up. We even saw crocodiles from the limited portion of the river we were exposed to. The bed was very comfortable and accommodating. The room was cozy and we fell asleep to the sound of the rain and animals. They had everything we needed and assisted when we did not. This was the favorite accommodation of our trip throughout the Eastern Peninsula of Australia and both North and South Island of New Zealand.

Great location in the heart of the Daintree Forest. Very private bungalows make you feel like you’re the only ones there! Absolutely loved everything about this place from the amazing Cassowaries that roam the property to the incredible meals prepared by chef Scott in the lodge’s Cycad restaurant. Make sure you try the Barramundi, this was spectacular! The helpful and friendly staff and the manager Margaret were a great source of local knowledge and able to provide great tips for things to see and do. The lodge even has it’s own nature walk through the rainforest. You can’t go past this place for an eco-friendly holiday destination close to everything the Daintree has to offer.

The view is sublime - it is hard to take your eyes off it! Gerry, your host, is amazing - he is basically at your beck and call - it is great having him downstairs and he can't do enough to help you. We'll be back!

Beautiful location in the heart of the rainforest, no mobile phone reception, no TV reception, but quite an extensive DVD library for those who need it. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Vicki, the manager.
