Wollongong is a nice seaside City, very picturesque. Lots of eateries everywhere. Lots of parks for children. Great walk along beachfront. Great Football stadium on the beachfront. A little difficult to park in the CBD…… very busy. Nice place to visit.

As our stay was short we only had time to wonder around Kiama which was great. Our next stay will be longer and may even take a train ride up or down the coast. So much to see in this beautiful area of our country.

location was great for the event that we had to attend food prices + meals were excellent they had a special on the menu's while we stayed there $16 meals for everything weather was perfect close to shopping center's garages etc.

School Holidays, Summer. But most places were closed on Monday Tuesday, then when they opened on Wednesday they were very expensive. This place will be filled with Range Rovers and BMW wankers pretty soon. When it cost a family $150 $ for dinner at a shitty bowls club you know it's never a cheap holiday town.

Beautiful property—clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It was lovely waking up to the beautiful ocean view from the main bedroom. The only downside was that there is just one bathroom for the three bedrooms, which was a shame and a little inconvenient for our group. When we booked, I hadn't realised this from the listing. The property also appeared to be managed through a third-party host, and communication was a bit slower than expected. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and really enjoyed the property and its stunning location.

Bungalow 1six was an excellent house for our family. Location was a short stroll down the road to the beach. We had coffee and breakfast daily in a little café on our way to the beach called Blue Swimmer. They had outstanding coffee and freshly baked muffins they pulled out of the oven as we walks in!. Try their juice, mandarin, watermelon and carrot- we had to get three! Gerringong markets on the Saturday morning was great, lots of cute local produce, one guy making gluten free donuts and dairy free milkshakes...very yummy Purchased a 15 year old bonsai tree from a local grower .... just started flowering (bonus) Ice cream shop a must visit for all age groups. I can imagine this part of the world being so busy in the summer months but they have so much to offer in the cooler seasons. Worth a stay!

Swimming, surfing, boating, fishing, beautiful walks, shopping. Shame Wollongong Council never replaced the kids playground.Loved the fact that I was provided with an outdoor barbecue. There’s something for everyone!

Helensburgh is an absolute gem of a town, full of history, charm, and a lively atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—not just by the locals but by the town itself. The mix of old-world character and modern vibrancy made for a really unique experience. The town has plenty to offer, from great little shops to incredible historical sites. Exploring the area was a highlight for us, especially stumbling across some amazing spots that really showcase the town’s past. Whether you're after a bit of adventure or just a relaxing getaway, Helensburgh has something for everyone. The hotel we stayed at had a fantastic historic feel, which really added to the experience. The pub downstairs was buzzing, and the locals made us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was having a good yarn with a local who’s part of the RFS for the area. He shared stories about the town, its strong community spirit, and even some of the incredible athletes who have come from Helensburgh. It was great to get a real insight into the town from someone who’s been part of it for so long. It was a bit noisy at first due to an event downstairs, but that just encouraged us to get involved, have a meal, and enjoy the night. The shared facilities were well-kept, and the little touches like tea, coffee, and biscuits in the lounge were much appreciated. If I had to give one small bit of feedback, it would be about the accommodation entrance—when we first arrived, the door was locked, and we weren’t sure how to get in. We had to go through the pub, which was a little intimidating at first, but it all worked out in the end. Overall, Helensburgh is a fantastic place to visit, with great people, good food, and plenty to see and do. We’ll definitely be back! Thanks, legends!

A very comfortable cabin. Friendly staff. Spacious grounds. The Club for meals. Close to beaches, shopping centres. Walking, cycle tracks. Entertainment Centre. We would definitely stay again. Lived in the area years ago.

Apartment and hosts are exceptional Quiet location,,easy walk to beach. Prior to a show on Monday April 4, at the beautiful Anita's theatre we enjoyed dinner at the busy Old Siamese restaurant Thirroul and were made feel welcome by the young man attending our order. Lunch at Bulli Beach Cafe fish platter was disappointing.
