"Wagga is a lovely city with all the shopping you could wish for. Wide tree lined streets and footpaths, with a large choice and variety of dining venues. Beautiful Botanic Gardens and War Memorial Gardens close to the river beach. We experienced some car trouble and were almost overwhelmed at how many strangers tried to assist us. Really positive experience - could happily have stayed longer."

"Jerilderie is a lovely laid back country town. The People are warm and friendly and will stop and have a chat with you. The town itself is well planned and is only 4 hours from Melbourne. The Food at the Pubs is really good and Jerilderie has a Bakery/Cafe that makes everything fresh on the day. The Town has Historical appeal as Ned Kelly held up the whole town for three days and you can follow the trail through the Town as there are stops that show you what happened back then. What also surprised me was an EV charging station in the town for those who want to recharge their vehicles."

JapanWe were really impressed with the service (Joel was fantastic) and the spaciousness and cleanliness of their well-appointed guest rooms. We loved the little touches like the murals and local artworks peppered around the property. It was conveniently located around the corner from the main shopping strip and eateries. After an extremely long day on the road, all we wanted to do was a grab a quick bite and flop into an extremely comfy bed with Netflix....and we were able to so just that!

Our whānau really enjoyed the location as we need to travel to Waggawagga and it was close yet far away enough from the business. It was a good distance from town and amenities. We really loved the walking distance to the Licorice Factory and Lauri Daly Oval :). Although it was very busy with people attending the tournament in Waggawagga, everyone was very respectful.
Our accommodation was very neat, clean, tidy and the beds were very comfortable. As we were too late secure a family room, we book two rooms next to each other which was great.
Rodger and Dona were very helpful and would answer any questions we had as soon as possible. We would definitely stay with Junee Tourist Park again and we look forward to it.

I arrived with my nurse, to the Motel. I didn't realise that I couldn't use my card due to a Bank mess up!! But the lovely lady said to give her my card + that she'll try it...well, it worked so I was everso grateful she took my card tried it, & it worked...all in about 5 mins!! I'm so happy that I get to stay with you again ....on Monday nite maybe Tuesday nite depending on how my operation goes! All in all, I was thrilled with my visit so thank you kindly.

Despite having booked a small room for myself, it was very well equipped including a microwave, a toaster and eating utensils. The bathroom looked like it had all new fittings and tiling.

Vanilla Pod is the go to place for breakfast, brunch or lunch, or just for a coffee great food at good prices, on Baylis street (the main street) Good food shopping at the plazas supermarkets and it is easy to get around town on foot.

We didn't enjoy the circular central streets as per Walter Burley Griffin's copy of Canberra. (We like them straight and in a grid.)

Perfect halfway mark between Sydney & Adelaide. Not a lot of options to eat but we found a super pizza & takeaway place in the main street, sorry I can't recall the name?? (something boys?) You have to try their mushroom & truffle one, we were even given a sample prior to ordering!

Very old town with lots of history.
Very old town with lots of history. Friendly locals and plenty to see. Loved reading the story about Nancy.
There is also a man there in the assembly hall that has a huge collection of pens dating back 4 thousand years. Well worth a visit.
Loved the very old bridge,it reminded me of the old bridge going into Ballina back when I wax a young lass. The missingham bridge if I recall correctly.
Definitely visit this piece of Australian history

We only stayed overnight, but due to the location of the Motel, we went for a walk in the town in the morning.
What an interesting town, with the War memorial and older Australian buildings, beautifully cared for and intriguing with history.

Cootamundra is an ideal distance for an over night stay between Melbourne and Brisbane. The town has good services and is not too big. Very nice touring country to the north through Cowra and western towns.

Lovely country town, with some interesting attractions...Junee chocolate and liquorice factory (great food), rail museum....nice old pubs...good Thai restaurant.
We attended a family function at the Ex Servicemens Club which was fabulous.

Designed by Walter Burley Griffen, Leeton is a well kept, tree lined town with interesting Art Deco buildings on edge of Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. Museum on history of area. Local industries include citrus, grapes/wine, rice, cotton, sheep and cattle. Good sporting facilities and harness racing club. Some good coffee shops. Worth a two day visit.
