We were really impressed with the service (Joel was fantastic) and the spaciousness and cleanliness of their well-appointed guest rooms. We loved the little touches like the murals and local artworks peppered around the property. It was conveniently located around the corner from the main shopping strip and eateries. After an extremely long day on the road, all we wanted to do was a grab a quick bite and flop into an extremely comfy bed with Netflix....and we were able to so just that!

Tuckerbox was so clean, well serviced and perfect for our family of four with two small children. It was serviced daily and a short drive into Gundagai town (2 minutes). The apartment was modern and spacious with two single beds and a queen bed and a modern bathroom with separate toilet. We were here for a family wedding in Gundagai and it was perfect.

Our whānau really enjoyed the location as we need to travel to Waggawagga and it was close yet far away enough from the business. It was a good distance from town and amenities. We really loved the walking distance to the Licorice Factory and Lauri Daly Oval :). Although it was very busy with people attending the tournament in Waggawagga, everyone was very respectful. Our accommodation was very neat, clean, tidy and the beds were very comfortable. As we were too late secure a family room, we book two rooms next to each other which was great. Rodger and Dona were very helpful and would answer any questions we had as soon as possible. We would definitely stay with Junee Tourist Park again and we look forward to it.

I arrived with my nurse, to the Motel. I didn't realise that I couldn't use my card due to a Bank mess up!! But the lovely lady said to give her my card + that she'll try it...well, it worked so I was everso grateful she took my card tried it, & it worked...all in about 5 mins!! I'm so happy that I get to stay with you again ....on Monday nite maybe Tuesday nite depending on how my operation goes! All in all, I was thrilled with my visit so thank you kindly. I like the room interior is comfortable and clean but just...

I like the room interior is comfortable and clean but just feel a little bit dark because the hotel use black curtain. A good restaurant provided is much much better than other motels. Also the location of the hotel is close to shopping centre, just a few minutes driving can arrive. There is also a big parking area which is convenient for the self driving travellers. The only concerns is no slippers and tooth brush set provided in the room (may be I need to ask the reception). Also, the room price is reasonable for me for low budget travel. Generally speaking, in Wagga Wagga, I think this is the almost top rated hotel.

We didn't enjoy the circular central streets as per Walter Burley Griffin's copy of Canberra. (We like them straight and in a grid.) However, we found the whole area seemed prosperous and very busy.

Gundagai is a very beautiful country town . if your into history and museums and serene countryside then you would like Gundagai .there are a few shops in town and a club . the park has a scenic walkway

Hay is pretty quiet for a coastal city person like me, especially on a Sunday between Christmas and New Year. However, being approximately half-way on the drive between Sydney/Wollongong and Adelaide, it provides an ideal location to rest up overnight, especially as a solo driver. It has a good supermarket and cafe and there were plenty of options for an evening meal at the RSL, Bowling Club and pub provided you are ready to eat around 6pm. I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Saltbush Motor Inn in the centre of town which I highly recommend.

As I was on a journey to get to Sydney I didn’t have time to...

As I was on a journey to get to Sydney I didn’t have time to stay longer, however I will try to fit that in on my next trip. I didn’t have time to visit the town or the surrounding sites. I was originally thinking to stay in Wagga Wagga but I’m so glad I chose Narrandera.

Designed by Walter Burley Griffen, Leeton is a well kept, tree lined town with interesting Art Deco buildings on edge of Murrumbidgee Irrigation Area. Museum on history of area. Local industries include citrus, grapes/wine, rice, cotton, sheep and cattle. Good sporting facilities and harness racing club. Some good coffee shops. Worth a two day visit.

Didn't have any spare time to look around, however, would recommend visiting the Visitor Information Centre. The people there were very helpful and had a sound knowledge of the local area and its attractions.

Lovely country town, with some interesting attractions...Junee chocolate and liquorice factory (great food), rail museum....nice old pubs...good Thai restaurant. We attended a family function at the Ex Servicemens Club which was fabulous.
