I love Lorne in all seasons.
I love Lorne in all seasons. The beach is great in warmer months and the forests are great all year round. Plenty of walks, lots of good cafes and restaurants, the newly renovated Grand Pacific Hotel is insane. It's a sleepy town in Winter, but I like that very much - it's so cosy, lots of places have fireplaces. I love Lorne.Guest review byMelsAustralia - 10.0
love Torquay.
love Torquay. It's not only a surfer's paradise, it's also a fabulous getaway... Beach is peaceful and clean, plenty of cafes and restaurants - (especially loved Salty Dog Cafe, iL Matto Italian Restaurant and Squires Loft)... It's also dog friendly which is a major bonus...Guest review byKerriAustralia - 10.0
We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea.
We had a relaxing family holiday at Anglesea. The location of the holiday park right next to the beach and river meant we barely had to get in the car. It’s an excellent location for kids with many different activities. The beds in the cabins were so comfortable too!Guest review bySarahAustralia - 10.0

Love the holiday feel of Aireys and the facilities like the lighthouse, viewing spots and the café there, and track walks there and the pub. Village cafes and store perfect and the market in school grounds was superb! Everyone very friendly.Guest review byRichardUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Although it is a quiet rural area, this accommodation is ideally located for visits to the Surf Coast, Geelong itself, or the Bellarine Peninsula. The nearest hotel is only minutes away in Waurn Ponds, and the meal we had there was delicious.Guest review byEricAustralia - 8.0

I liked the size of the room and the bed was comfie. Very clean. Had to go to the bar to get crockery? Did they want guests to eat in? Fittings in the newly renovated bath fell apart. Perhaps some hooks instead of double towel rail would be tougher. Loved having netflixGuest review byEleanorAustralia - 8.0
We had such a wonderful stay at Bellshala.
We had such a wonderful stay at Bellshala. The peaceful surroundings gave us the perfect opportunity to truly relax, unwind, and enjoy some quiet time. We loved being able to sit back with a good book and watch the local wildlife — it was exactly the escape we needed. There was an excellent cafe in Jan Juc (Swell Cafe) and we bought produce from Peaches in Torquay - didn't want to drive out on the highway to go out for dinner.Guest review byKatrinaAustralia - 10.0
The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay...
The government bus service to get to Lorne and Apollo Bay from Geelong is very cheap and enabled both of us to relax and enjoy the beautiful coastal scenery for the hour long journey, instead of the stress if navigating a very windy road. Lorne is very quaint and well serviced. There are great foreshore walks to have and some level of fitness is required. If you prefer eating and coffee there are plenty of cafes and restaurants plus boutiques for shopping. Thoroughly recommended a visit.Guest review byDianeAustralia - 10.0

Torquay is a great beach for a holiday and I love driving here from Sydney. Great beaches and access to the Great Ocean Road which starts in Torquay. There are some great cafes and restaurants overlooking the beach at Torquay and a great walk next to the beach too.Guest review byMichelleAustralia - 10.0

A beautiful beachside suburb surrounded by bushland & minutes away from the Great Ocean Road. Adequate options for food & drink though they vary in standard however all are top $$ for what one gets.Guest review byVelottanteAustralia
