We found this place by sheer luck as we booked it at 5.30pm on the day of our stay and were running out of options. We could not be more overjoyed to find such a place. It has a great and interesting history and has now been tastefully modernised to a very high standard and is now a UNESCO world heritage site. We couldn’t fault anything about the place. It is absolutely immaculate with friendly and helpful staff and free parking on site. We wouldn’t hesitate to return here to this wonderful place.

Our stay at the hotel was extremely pleasant. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and modern, which contributed to our overall satisfaction. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. We will definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

Pro tip - turn right the next street after the hotel and there is underground parking there. It's a 100m walk from there. Otherwise great hotel, very modern and quiet. The staff was very nice

The stay was good, nothing unexpected. Our car battery died when we were trying to leave the property and the personnel was very kind to let us use their car to go to a car parts shop and buy a new one. Excellent service, can’t thank them enough as they saved our day.

Great beds, clean room, friendly staff, very quiet

We loved our stay at the Zimmerhof hotel. The room was quite spacious and nicely appointed. We requested an early check-in as we reached Lier early; the reception kindly accommodated our request. The room was super clean and had all amenities we needed. The heating worked great during the coldest days of the year! The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom was quite spacious too. The staff at the reception were extremely helpful in recommending food places nearby and in allowing us to get a piece of wrapping paper for something we had to carry. The breakfast was decent too, quite comfortable hours and a fair spread of items. The location can't be any better -- you will be 2 minutes from the Grote Markt and right across the Zimmerplein. There are plenty of good restaurants around the hotel, and the weekend markets are right in front of the property. Overall, a wonderful stay in Lier.

Very quirky hotel, felt very old

Wonderful place with a great service. They brought us full breakfast to the room because we were working until late and would have missed it otherwise!
