We arrived to the hotel on a business trip, it was cold and we were tired. They told us we had double booked.
Then things changed. Fouzia helped us organize everything with a huge, contagious smile on her face. We had a beer in the bar and the day turned around just like that.
While we were there Elena arrived for her shift, and carried the same energy as Fouzia and was an absolute pleasure to speak to.
The hotel is clean with ample rooms, great value for money and ideally located to the city center.
Any with staff like this I cant recommend enough. Thanks!

Beautiful property in nature. During the two days we stayed, there were always some events happening at the hotel, very interesting. The rooms are a bit older but very comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic in the old castle.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. My flight was delayed and didn't arrive at the hotel till after 10pm . I had phoned and I was told not to worry and they were there waiting for me .

The location was amazing in a very peaceful and calm neighborhood. The hotel was a great place to stay and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast was also good.

Nice Belgian small town, with a cozy square, where there are lots of bars and terraces, and a beautiful church. The church is free to enter, a bonus. In addition, one can find good shops in the streets around the town square.

The beds are really uncomfortable being wrapped in plastic, the airco wasn't working properly and the oven on which we where counting for our dinner wasn't there.
The renter couldn't offer us a solution.

The location was peaceful and the accommodation very comfortable. We enjoyed walking through the woods in the evening to a lovely restaurant overlooking the lake. It was an easy drive into Maastrict and also the pretty village of Oud Rekem - both worth a visit. We did not go into Lanaken itself as our time there was too short.

We have stayed before and it was good.
We have stayed before and it was good. This time, however, we were not informed that the restaurant was closed. It's in a remote place so having to get back in the car after a long journey didn't suit us. The windmill was covered with scaffolding - again, not informed that workmen were around. Only one other guest, and hosts were not present until we waited 20/30 minutes for them to come to let us in, and the woman came back for breakfast (which had to be chosen on arrival by way of a tick-sheet). As I said, it's in a remote place so nowhere to walk to; around 20 mins drive to town or shopping outlet.
Sadly, the changes have turned it into a place we won't be visiting again.

I came here twice already.
I came here twice already.
First time was last year, in February, as I was curious to discover the unique border situation and since that time, this town became my favourite and my biggest passion. I came back some days ago, not anymore just to see the borders, but to live again the unique and beautiful vibes the town transmits. Here the atmosphere is so welcoming, so special, all the locals are so nice and friendly.
Baarle is not a huge town, but it's the perfect place to have a chill little holiday, to walk around, go by bike and discover the crazy borders!
I plan to come here many times, as many as possible, as this place transmitted something to my soul I have never felt anywhere else.

I liked the room. It was very clean and comfortable. The view from the window was superb - a lake with birds and a nice terrace with table and chairs.
I was not impressed that I could not get breakfast at the hotel. Instead I had to visit another restaurant at center parcs.

As someone who has stayed at this charming family run hotel I would thoroughly recommend the RS10 to anyone staying in Turnhout.

The place was very cozy and clean, the location of this house was very beautiful, situated next to the Vijverzicht lake. The house contained all of the necessary things needed for a stay. Perfect location to travel around the Limburg area, with very good access to grocery shoppings and restaurants in the vicinity. Close to Maastricht as well. Very good value for money.

Maasmechelen is an excellent place to stay to visit the area where Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany meet. Recommend traveling by car. Maasmechelen is close to roads going to Maastricht, Aachen and Antwerp. Restaurants, supermarkets and the Maasmechelen Village Mall are nearby. Maasmechelen is also next to the Hoge Kempen National Park.

Honestly, it's literally just a Dutch town. I wouldn't recommend someone taking a trip here especially. If you're passing through the region, sure, stop here to see the weird borders, but there aren't a lot of places where the borders are in interesting places and the town makes WAY less out of it's weird borders than it could. BUT, that is also very Dutch, so.. There are literally about 5 interesting places to take photos, so not worth an entire trip for just this.
