Lovely staff, very cheerful, attentive, and kind! 😇 The rooms were clean and spacious. 🛏 Indoor pool has warm water, it has built-in jacuzzi. The sauna was also nice. 🏊‍♀️ Restaurant food is mostly seafood (it's greek Restaurant) and it was tasty. 🍴 I recommend horse mackerel/сафрид. 🐠

A fantastic spot in this beautiful corner of Bulgaria: quiet, charming and relaxing, everything you need for a few days to get away from it all. Nice, friendly and helpful hosts, great Bulgarian traditional meals and overall a very enjoyable experience. Will come again to explore the beautiful lush forests nearby and to enjoy peace, quiet and lovely meals. Highly recommended!

For me the most important thisn was the lovation and that I did not have to stay in nearby Haskovo. The hotel was very luxurious in the 90s and has certainly kept some style from then. The rooms are spacious, half of them have balconies. I really liked the wooden floors and the marble in the common areas. The restaurant is very reasonable. They have a la carte breakfast, which takes some 10 mins to prepare, so bear that in mind. They have free parking on the premises, which I found valuable. The staff was very helpful. Overall I would recommend the place if you have business to do in Dimitrovgrad.

Nice cozy hotel in a park, very clean rooms, outdoor pool, excellent kitchen. In the summer there is garden restaurant. Friendly personnel. A wonderful place for 1-2 (or more) days stay in Haskovo. The hotel is in a nice big park, in the same time it is close to the center (ca. 20-25 min. walk or 5 min. by car).

we will never visit this location again, never got to see the sights, we were there only to rest and shower before our onward journey. but on two occasions in 2 years we have visited this location, both have been bad experiences, wont be going again

I love the art on the buildings. Great places to visit.

I love the art on the buildings. Great places to visit. There is shopping, cafes and lovely restaurants. Peaceful walks in parks and nice walks with the locals on the evening. We saw fun street art and locals walking around as well. Mr. Corner bar and pizza is brilliant! Prices good and plus size portions. Museum is good but could do with some English signs to help us understand a bit better.

Madzharovo is a hidden gem!

Madzharovo is a hidden gem! I would recommend to any nature-love and animal-lover to visit it! The whole area is full of Thracian and nature landmarks and rare species of flora and fauna. The town is small but with rich history and offers a lot to do around for both history and nature lovers. I definitely want to go back and stay longer!

There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria...

There are lots of pros and cons about Haskovo and Bulgaria in general. We felt it was like coming back in last century with facilities. We just could not put up with smoking everywhere. There are no cash machines around and you have to pay in cash in most places. No free drinking water facilities. Not many lamp posts outside, roads conditions leave much to be desired and people say it is not safe to go out late when it is dark… Not many people speak English or pretend they don’t understand and local people take advantage of you, offering double prices for taxi and other services. Good place to play tennis but not sure we would like to come back there next time.

We Thought we were in paradise or at least in Haremlike house, also the smell was Arabic The building was like Arabic beautiful!!! The entryhall was a real hall. Overwhelming. The room just great, furniture accessories lights bathroom and so on superb and we really enjoyed every little item every bit for comfort and a certain cosyness.Friendly helpfulness without being devout. We’re certainly coming back on our return voyage
