The hotel is still in the renovation phase; it was clearly indicated on the website. At 11 am, we were able to enter the room as compensation for the noise from the construction works. We thought that being on the 10th floor and having a room on the 6th would be tolerable, but the noise turned out to be quite significant. We reported it to the reception and were given an upgrade to the 2nd floor. Blissful room, tastefully renovated, super clean. The breakfast with a view of the Saramak River was perfect; freshly squeezed pineapple, carrot... everything was warm, crispy, with discreet and professional staff, and a large, well-maintained pool, all overlooking the Kuching waterfront. After many rooftop swimming experiences, this spacious pool surrounded by a beautiful garden was a breath of fresh air.

The hotel team is incredibly friendly and smiling, it was a pleasure to be with them! Despite the small size of the room — understandable, since you're literally in a pipe! — it has a full shower, a comfortable bed, tables, and some storage space. The staff thoughtfully provides water and cleans every day The breakfasts are delicious — both buffet and à la carte. The territory are much nicer and more beautiful than expected — two pools, two beaches, secluded corners, and stunning views. Black monkeys also visited :) An undeniable plus is the excellent Wi-Fi, which allowed us to work fully (we work remotely)

The choices for food was off the charts.

The choices for food was off the charts. We loved the seafood choices at restaurants. Neyalan Seafood Restaurant and Welcome Seafood is a must do experience for any traveler/ The Waterfront Esplanade spoilt us for choices. We fell in love with the only Italian Wine / Food Restaurant. Excellent collection of imported wines and awesome pairings from seafood, pasta, meat cuts, cheeses and steaks. Doing a North Borneo Cruise 2-hour sunset with an excellent dinner and dance experience in the Bay of Kota Kinabalu, is must do, as well as the Hop On, Hop Off Bus Experience which includes 16 sites and three long stops. Overall KK has many other experiences outside of the city which we never got to in six days. Grab is the best e-hailing as opposed to hiring a car. Parking and city traffic can be very challenging. Most city hotels are within walking distance of the waterfront and shopping malls.

It is always very pleasant browsing through all the fruits and plants stalls. In actual fact, the whole purposes of going up to Kundasang is to visit this stalls. This trip, some stalls were demolished. But am pleased to hear that new stalls being built across the old location. Hope the new stalls footpaths/walkways are better laid for safer footing.

Home of the orang utangs all species of tropical flora and fauna. Ever green environment being in the Tropics. Renowned visitors were Judy Dench, Jason Scott Lee championing the plights of the the orang Utangs and sun bears. Slow pace and small town and easy to drive around. Many seafood restaurants with fresh Cheap food at Taman IJM, and one at Buli Sim Sim. All visitors including Hong Kong TV celebrities came for the local seafood. Locals have breakfasts at the local markets. I opted out the hotel breakfast and have the local springing noodles, ramen equivalent, at the market Labuk Rd mile 1.5 roundabout.

Rhe orangutans ans sun bear trips are highly overrated. U just get into an observatory ans look at a few orangutans like a zoom. The sun bearnis ever. Worse. We saw 1 sun bear in thr jungle at one spot. Thats all. Very overrated. Pls dont visit. Expensive tickets with no soecial experience. Orangutans and rainforest discovery. An be inky paid in cash also at the restaurants. Only cash. Big problem there since we didn't know.

Immigration counter for elderly[>60years] & parent with infant was miss-used; probably should station an officer to monitor it. I decided to take local taxi from airport to Dynasty Hotel, instead of booking 'GRAB' or 'MAXIMM'; it was a mistake...as I have to wait nearly one hour; probably at night [2030], taxi are scarce; anyway it was a nice short journey; In the morning,[0830] I took a "GRAB" tp Piasau industrial area & it picked me up very fast; I noticed the roads are clean. no debris sighted.

There’s not a lot to do or see in Sempora. It’s a jump off spot to local diving and islands. The best coffee I found is at McDonalds. Good idea to get cash before you get there, lines at ATMs can be n hour long. Wise red worked a treat for eftpos. Small supermarkets have everything you need with a variety of eating places

Sibu is a charming riverside town in Sarawak with a laid-back feel. Love the local food scene, especially kampua mee, a local must try noodle and kompia, a local savoury pastry also must try! People are friendly and it’s a great base to experience authentic Foochow culture. Riverfront is nice for evening walks, central market is lively, and the people are welcoming. Great spot to experience real Sarawak life away from the crowds.

To be honest, i cant find anything that is more interesting other than cheap beer, chocolate and excellent beach! Labuan does not have that is to offer me staying longer than 2 days. Its because Labuan does not have big malls, does not have proper travelling experience nor anything that give an interest for tourist. Except for having huge event or occasions. The town planner or Labuan Corporation have nothing to create in terms of tourist attractions! Its like waiting for something to be done by the government.
