The room and surrounding are superb! Mr Lee is super nice and help us with luggage. He waited for us to arrive to show us the place. The garden is well taken care , my family and I enjoyed the place a lot with the magnificent view of mt kinabalu. The room come with heated floor- this is a very thoughtful design of the room/chalet.

Very nice city, different from the west of Malaysia. Lots of nice activities to do. I did mount Kinabalu hike over 2 days and did snorkelling and swimming in Kota Kinabalu. I missed the hot springs, probably next time :)

It’s a great place to see wildlife!

It’s a great place to see wildlife! We really enjoyed the rainforest discovery centre. It was quiet and there were lots of monkeys in a beautiful setting. The sunbear sanctuary was our next favourite place. The Orangutan sanctuary was so busy! We only saw a few orangutan, but lots of people. Paganakan DII Tropical retreat was our favourite accommodation.

The shopping plaza is right opposite the hotel which is convenient for last minute shopping before you start any tours. We found the Balin Rooftop Bar was a great place to eat and have a drink. Bistro 88 on the harbour front was also convenient and had a good vibe. It's easy to walk around the town and we never felt unsafe. Our hotel did not have a pool so we bought a day pass at The Sabah Hotel to use their pool and have lunch.

Kundasang is true to the nickname "New Zealand of Malaysia"..Such amazing view with breathtaking scenery of Mount Kinabalu, mountains, pine trees with beautiful flora fauna. Such wonderful breezy air. Only that food are not many choices. Malay food mostly and few Chinese shop. Vegetarian meals are difficult to find but you can get the restaurant prepare for you but there wont be many choices tough. I brought a group of 16 people and all enjoyed the place. Only thing missed to do the island hopping due to the haze so surely will come back again....

It's an interesting place to visit, very clean and oh so quiet after spending a month in the Philippins. The locals are all very friendly and welcoming, do visit the food markets and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need to know what to eat.

There’s not a lot to do or see in Sempora.

There’s not a lot to do or see in Sempora. It’s a jump off spot to local diving and islands. The best coffee I found is at McDonalds. Good idea to get cash before you get there, lines at ATMs can be n hour long. Wise red worked a treat for eftpos. Small supermarkets have everything you need with a variety of eating places

The 4 day Pangkalan Bun National Park tour on a traditional Klotok boat was wonderful, afterwards we stayed at the hotel which was good, but there wasn’t a lot to do/see in the city Pangkalan Bun.

A beautiful spot to relax and unwind. Whether you want to sit and read a book, stare at the ocean, swim, snorkel, kayak, or enjoy guided walks, diving - it was there if you wanted it. Food was lovely, staff were helpful and friendly. Highly recommend it as a holiday destination. Close to Kota Kinabalu but feels like a million miles away.

excellent trip if you want to enjoy an eco-resort in the midst of nature. Villas were clean and well equipped. The tree houses looked interesting but it had a steep steps to climb to. I had to book the villas as there was 3 of us. No regrets though. They have a private beach and all the staff speak English. The cafe serves reasonably priced food but they only have buffet breakfast if the guests are more than 35. Only downside is it is difficult to Grab around that area.
