This little hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It is situated a bit out of the main center (but not too far) in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants. The hotel is all tidy, clean and well kept. Breakfast was great with broad variety of both european and local dishes (thumbs up for very good Nasi Lemak) and selection of best cakes. We tried them all at the hotel and also at the steetfood market and the hotel won. Special thanks to the staff who went out of their way to help us under all circumstances. They literally capped the stay as the best one of all of our Borneo trip. Also the hotel has boat taxis you can arrange at the reception for sightseeing or way to the city. The same with cars. Very convenient for small groups such as ours. I do thank Al Afiah and highly recommend this property.

I booked for 2 nights, and after 5 min in the room I changed my mind and extended for 6 nights... Such a comfortable bed, a kitchen, a washing machine, big shower, spacious room, just 2 min drive from a great and empty beach, and it has even a small balcony, couldn't wish more and I will come back for sure when I will be back in Brunei one day...
