The pool is incredible, we were lucky enough to have it for ourselves few times . The hotel is brand new , the gym is well equipped and the bar is beautiful. Breakfast amazing . Sea view and forest view are both nice .

We're in walkable area to get to the night market.

From the get go we were truly looked after by the wonderful staff, even before we boarded the plane. The location was fantastic, located at Imago Mall which is brilliant for shopping and dining. A short walk to the waterfront and popular Filipino market. The room was spec’s very high, shout out for the Dyson hairdryer, and was very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

We slept to the sound of the frogs croaking, and it's close to many restaurants, laundry, and other stores. They even let us park our motorcycle in a nearby gated area. The internet also worked great, and the bathrooms were spotless. This place was fabulous!

The window faces an inner courtyard, so it is very quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, not everyone speaks English equally well. The front office manager, Mr. Ardian Arianto, helped us a lot with everything and even drove us to a Telkomsel shop in his car. Thanks again for that. If you don't mind living about 1.5 km from the city centre, we can recommend the Harper without reservation.

Common area mezzanine is comfortable, you get free cold & warm water as well as tea and coffee during the day, great! Shops and laundry nearby and about 15-20 mins of walk from the center where all tours departs. I had a great stay, it gets a 9/10 just because I had slightly better value for money in Malaysia & Borneo.

A nice, clean hotel in Sandakan in a good location on the seafront and by the mall. Good self serve laundry nearby. Attached restaurant had good food options at good prices and a very decent breakfast included. Loved that they provide glass bottles of filtered water rather than plastic and you can refill your own water bottle-good to see a push for more sustainable options in Borneo! Staff, particularly security and store staff were very friendly.

The location was situated right at the heart of the town in Kuching. Easily assessable to the waterfront walk where the view during the night is magnificent, Borneo Cultural Museum is a also just within the area, all within 10 mins to 20 mins walk. Those nature attraction would be a bit far as they are situated near the jungle areas where there would certainly be no hotels nearby.

We were treated so well here from the moment the hotel's driver met us at the airport to the time we checked out. We were upgraded at check-in and gifted a tropical fruit plate as a welcome gift. The dinner buffet was exceptional in choice and quality. We only stayed one night, but what a wonderful introduction to Indonesian Borneo - we felt like minor rock stars.

The rooms in the Borneo wing are more modern but smaller than the rooms in the main hotel where the rooms are larger but a little dated. The Borneo wing rooms also look out onto a lovely herb garden.
