Everything. The room is like a mini apartment/kitchenette. The bed super comfy with high quality pillows. The TV had access to streaming such as Netflix and YouTube. The location is perfect to walk around the centre of the city.

I know Morro de Sao Paulo quite well but I hadn't been back in over 10 years. I wanted a place close to the beach but not so near that I could hear the parties! So the hotel Patua do Morro provided me the perfect location. A short walk to all the amenities of Morro but far enough for some peace and quiet. The breakfast was fabulous - so many choices. The hotel is very clean and the pool bar staff made amazing cocktails!

The staff is really friendly and very helpful, the rooms are good for a family vacation, the food is fresh and very taste, breakfast is really good too, the place is very, very clean, is not in the heart from the city centre but is very close. Everyone in the hotel was very polite, there is everything you need around the place. I would definitely comeback with my family there.

The garden and pool area is lovely... with a good sized pool. The garden is very well looked after and the whole hotel has some good areas for sitting and relaxing. Good food is served there with great friendly service. The 'sauna' is actually a 'steam room' but is very hot and works great. I stayed at 4 other locations not too far from that area during my visit... and this hotel had considerally less mosquitoes... barely any. I think whatever they're doing to deal with them is working very well - was really impressed by that! Good reliable wifi which seemed to work in all outside areas too.

We came to the hotel to experience all that it had to offer, as we had booked our wedding here in the coming months. Now that we’ve seen it first hand, we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate our love here. For those interested in wedding-specific stuff, go to the bottom of the review 👇🏼 The room: Very spacious, huge bed, great for couples. The room also includes a sofa with a desk and a few chairs to do some work if needed. The bathroom is also pretty big and well equipped. Although it doesn’t have a bidet, there is a small convenient shower head next to the toilet. All that separates the bathtub from the actual room is a semitransparent glass. Although not great for privacy, pretty cool for couples. The food: The buffets have an abundance of food, for all tastes and preferences. It’s hard to complain here, and although not the best meals I’ve had in my whole life, there’s always something great to have. And there’s just so much food. You can get even more food near the pool and the beach. When we were there, the hotel was almost at full capacity, and still it was easy to find a table every time. Restaurants: There are 3 restaurants to go to besides the main buffet. They require reservations, and you can book a limited number depending on the length of the stay. When the hotel is near full capacity, they open a a fourth, which was the case when we were there. Bahia e Brasa (Rodizio, beef): the best. Waiters come and offer you different cuts of meat. An amazing experience all in all. Mediterranean: incredible food. Plates are pretty abundant. Japanese: food’s very good. They prepare the plates live which makes for a good show. Poseidon: although the worst of the four, this one is close to the beach so it has some charm. Food is still very good, don’t get me wrong. The beach: With out a doubt, the best part of the hotel. The water is warm but not hot, just the right temperature to refresh you from the scorching weather.

Room and appliances are a bit outdated, but everything was super organized and clean. Bed and linen were super comfortable. Shower pressure was great. The view from the room was perfect to see Band Camarote during Carnival. It may have a nicer view without the Carnival's Camarote structure. Hotel restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food is good. Room service was quite fast and could adapt food allergies. Gym was well equipped - I managed to work out there every morning. It is a great place to stay before the official Carnival week. However, I wouldn't recommend it for the Carnival itself since it get super noisy in the streets and car access is closed.

The design of the whole place was beautiful and each area, from the reception to the gardens, looked impeccable., including the bedroom. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The facilities, gym, swimming pools, boat rides etc, were very good. The food was excellent. Catered for every taste. The beach was nice and very safe to swim in low tide. The rocks provided a natural pool. Sitting by the river was peaceful and very relaxing too. Lots of beautiful birds everywhere and no mosquitoes!!! I’d definitely recommend this place highly, either for a family ( lots of children facilities ) or a very relaxing holiday.

Salvador is one of the most culturally rich places I have been to. So much living culture and history and the food is the most delicious I've had in Brazil. Porto Seguro town is cute, smallish, with some nice restaurants. Best place to stay is south (Areial d'Ajuda or Trancoso) - it's a little hillier, green and leafy, and there's more properties right on the beach. If you want a beach partying experience, go north of Porto Seguro.

What I like about Praia do Forte is its laid back atmosphere, very safe and family oriented. It is mostly Brazilians who come here for their weekends and holidays. Not many foreign tourists. The Villa adds a lot of charm to this location, full of ice cream parlors, cafes , restaurants and shops, many shops in a car free street which makes for lovely after beach strolls. Because it is relatively small we walked everywhere but renting bikes could be a good idea too. We did the buggy tour to the Castle DAvila and the lagoon with the falls which was fun but nothing outstanding. The Tamar proyect is also interesting but the tour was in Portuguese. This is mostly a place where you come to relax

Beautiful relaxing island.

Beautiful relaxing island. Great little known holiday destination. Everyone very friendly and helpful. As it’s not so well just a bit of general info. Apart From wheelbarrow guys who take your luggage from port to hotel, (cost us 70. Reals one way for two cases) everyone else takes debit/credit cards so you don’t need to take much cash. You can buy a bottle of water in a shop or from street stalls for 3 Reals (about 55p) and pay by card. Very safe no pickpocketing Etc No one speaks English so unless you speak Portuguese - download Google translate . - we only met four other tourists who spoke English. This didn’t cause us any issues as the local people were so friendly and helpful. Restaurants are reasonably priced once you realise that portions are huge! - it’s usual for many meals to be for 2 people One of these will feed 4. You can usually ask for such meals to be served for just one. Also two starters is enough for a full meal for two people. Look out for the “Executive” or PR meals these are still very large portions One other nice thing is if you order a large beer (600ml) bottle just ask for 2 glasses - this is perfectly normal here in practice if you ask for a large beer they will normally as if you want one or two glasses.

Ilheus is a small city.

Ilheus is a small city. The central district is walkable and very enjoyable. There is an area a few blocks from the hotel with food trucks, ice cream shops and music. There is a wonderful area a couple of blocks north of the hotel for children to play. There is a Brazilian Churrascaria a couple blocks west from the hotel that had a great buffet with salads and grilled meats. It is only open until 3pm. It was very convenient to have small restaurants in the hotel building. Try the chocolate factory and Bom Bom factory. The South beach has many bars and great seafood.
